Kangz and Kweenz - Blacktivist/Black Nationalist Pseudohistorians trying to reclaim other nations' achievements and histories "WE WUZ KANGZ/KWEENZ N' SHIET"

There was a user on Lipstick Alley a few years ago. I think her name was Erika Kane. I don't know if she is still active but she was absolutely nuts. She seemed to have an actual mental condition judging by the strange structure of her posts. It wasn't quite schizo but you could tell she was having delusions. I seriously doubt she was a troll as it was obsessive with tons of pictures, diagrams and walls of insane, rambling text.

The blogs there are hilarious to begin with. But this woman claimed that blacks were actually from Europe and whites came from Africa. She flipped the script on the reason why light skin evolved to absorb more Vitamin D. Essentially blacks needed dark skin in Europe to get more nutrients from the sun. Whites need light skin to protect the from the sun. That makes no sense. But to her it did.

She would post images of slaves and diagrams of the ships and claim that they never existed and it was some kind of conspiracy to keep black people from reclaiming Europe. How blacks got to America was nonsensical. I th ink at one point she claimed they were already here and shipped whites in. But her posts were always so hard to follow.

Lipstick Alley isn't the same goldmine it used to be. There seems to be less crazies than before. I hear the site is owned by some Asian lady. A lot of people just go there for the celebrity gossip, which is what the site was originally founded for anyway.
So if they claim Europe, doesn't that mean colonization was whitey claiming Africa, his original home?

Well, mostly. There was certainly some connections between Egypt and sub-Saharan Africa, especially with Nubia, which was effectively an Egyptian colony for much of its history.

IIRC there was also at least one dynasty that was sub-Saharan, like the later Ptolemies were Greek.
I think the Old Kingdom made an expedition as far south as the Ethiopian mountain range, although I'm not sure

Personally, I suspect the Egyptians started building obelisks after Hatshepsut's expedition to Punt found them in Ethiopia. And those odd head supports used as pillows show up both in Egypt and sub-saharan Africa.

Of course the Egyptians got stuff from their neighbors, just like Americans got walkie-talkies from Canada. What's obnoxious is when people ignore the real stuff and go off on comic-book crazy shit.

It's worth noting that most of their military tech was actually very basic, until the Hyksos. That kind of surprised me, considering they had the first standing army. I guess their organisational skills were the main focus of their civilisation. I'm not aware of their military campaigns going sower, because of lack of foresight or logistical problems.

Yeah, they never really pulled off force projection. Sure, they held Nubia for the gold, but they didn't seem to have much interest in conquering the world by sword and flame, so they didn't evolve the capability, ultimately making them a target for foreign conquest.

Most of their military history needs to be taken with a grain of salt. We've got Abu Simbel, which extolls a victory that took place on the other side of Egypt, and was probably there to scare foreigners on the "safe" border. It would be like us sticking memorials to the Bridge at Remagen and Audie Murphy on the border of Mexico while our forces deployed north to defend against incursions from the wily and aggressive Canadians.

Hmm, most of what they conquered in the Old and Middle kingdom eras, they generally held for long periods of time. Also, after the shitstorm that was the second intermediary period, the Egyptians went apeshit and started conquering everybody.

I think the problem with the Ancient Egyptians were that they were too conservative.

Fair enough. When I think "force projection" I think "Italians building defensive walls in Briton" or "Because we have large wooden boxes pushed by the wind, we run India." Ancient Egypt I'd call more a regional power.

Okay, but the Egyptians generally fought other civilized peoples and powerful nomads, the Celts of Britain kind of sucked comparatively. You'd also need to factor the time difference and the fact that Romans were more keen on adopting and latinizing tech and skills from foreign cultures, allowing for more rapid technological innovation. That would have improved the Romans logistical capabilities as well. Romans by that time also employed horses for labor and military forces.

The Egyptians on the other hand, barely considered other people as humans and horses were used for the chariotry.

Edit: I wish I could write comments without having to edit them a thousand times, I wish I wasn't so stupid.

Oh, I love my kangz and kweenz. Their claims could have made more sense before we were able to extract DNA from ancient skeletons, even though they were weak even then. Over the years I've heard many different places that according to the kangz were created by black people: Egypt, Rome, Greece, Sumeria, Judea, Northern and Southern America, the British Empire (No, this isn't a joke. Shakespeare actually stole his play from a strong black woman, they say), China (yes, really), Northern African Muslim empires (Kangz brought the civilization to Iberia, of course) and also semi-civilized cultures that predated Greece or Egypt, but collapsed: Those are Vinča (Neolihthic culture in modern Serbia and in parts of Modern Bosnia, Romania, Greece, Macedonia and Albania) and Cucuteni (Neolithic culture in Modern Romania, Moldavia and Southern Ukraine).

Their economy was running a weird kind of state communism that relied on a bureaucracy too heavy and expensive to export to anyone who didn't live on the Nile. I'm sure they would have loved to go on conquering sprees, they just didn't have the social structure that would allow it.

To be fair, most of these are restorations based on good guesswork. The first image especially, 4/5ths of that are restorative pieces by artists.

They did until the Bronze age collapse.

Yes, you're right. Would be quite surprising if they would still be looking this good after several millenia. Fortunately we have more data than just restored images, for example archaeogenetics, even though it's also not without its problems.

As a Black man, I have to chime in to say that this is all feel-good rhetoric and bravado to make up for the fact that Black people absolutely suck in comparison to just about every other race on earth, with the exception of maybe the Australian Aboriginies (who have the ugliest women, btw).

We Wuz Kangz is a shame because it diverts attention from actual (though sparse) achievements by Blacks throughout history.

Here is some interesting and relevant reading on the matter: https://www.amren.com/blog/2021/02/gut-black-history-month/

I wondered whether this would get a thread or not, the Kang types are weirdly fascinating.

A personal lolcow of mine is 'We wuz Kangz' adjacent in her social media posts and I remember her saying shit like 'The power of melanin is incredible!' in response to this article:

She also has some pretty strong views against race mixing (which I unfortunately never took any screenshots of), because black kweens should be being wit black kangz n sheit.

Thanks for sharing that article, just in case if they was forced to delete it, here the archived version. https://archive.vn/CZWMH

We already have this thread: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/black-israelites.26993/
Also this meme is stupid. It's based off pseudohistory that enslaved Jews built the pyramids. Shouldn't rely on Christian pseudohistory with absolutely no evidence other than Bible fanfic for a gotcha. You can't prove hypocrisy by using a fictional example and a real example.
