💼 Careercow Kanye West / Ye - Arrogant Rapper With a God Complex Who (Probably) Likes His Asshole Fingered and Gave His Cousin Head, Mentally Ill and Taken Advantage Of, Hitler Did Nothing Wrong

So there's been some drama on the music side of Kanye. People have been getting the physical versions of Bully and the album is the old version of Bully that's entirely AI.

This understandably casued his community to meltdown for a day before yesterday announced that the album wouldn't have AI with a photo of an updated track list.

The album is supposed to drop tonight but after her announced this rework who knows if it will actually come out today.
Will Fantano review is he too much of a cuck to deal with Ye
He did a video covering his apology a while ago and it seemed like he was pretty open about it so he will probably review it.
Is this album just going to be his open letter in music form. If so will it actually be listenable like some of the Donda songs
The AI version so far doesn't really have anything like that. Now that it's getting reworked who knows.
If not strictly an apology tour, will it tap into any aspect of prime crashout Ye
All the love is a song from Cuck that he added to Bully and people are speculating that the song King from the updated tracklist is based off Jared from Cuck.
Is there a way out of archives to access the old Ye tweets?
https://yzy-twts.com/ I think he just deleted most of them.

There’s a lot of tracks on there that I think hardcore Ye fans will love, he brings back the “chipmunk” vocals from the old days. Nothing made me want to listen to any of the tracks for more than 30 seconds. But the last time a Kanye album was interesting to me was Yeezus.

I grew out of wiggerdom so this shit ain’t for me unless I have rosetinted nostalgia goggles.

I listened to the entire album and imo it’s better than Vultures 2. Although he needs to fix Circles, the original version was much better.

The original version of Circles was slower and it had the raw sample of Huit Octobre 1971 by Cortex. And it was only Kanye performing on this track

While the new version of Circles is more upbeat and the tempo is faster with added drums and bass. Instead of Kanye performing this, it’s allegedly the reference track of Circles performed by Don Toliver.
Also the new version is a minute shorter. While I don’t hate the new version of Circles, the original version is overall is much better listen.

I just listened to "Bully" and as an Ye stan who's waited for it since it was anounced I want to share my thoughts with my fellow kiwis.

When the Ye stan listens to an Ye album, he must ask himself one basic question: "Is it over, or are we back?". Well, I definitively wouldn't say it's over, but I'm not sure we're back. It's better than what I thought, but given that I thought he wasn't going release the album ever or that it was going to be nothing but a shitstorm of AI vocals in it, that doesn't mean much.

Overall, there's nothing in it that is close to the shittier parts of Vultures 2, but compared to how hyped I was when I listened to what was dropped on March of last year, it's a letdown...which means I'll probably listen to it only a couple more times.

Some more thoughts below
-The album is 95% real vocals (or really good AI), so kudos to Ye for that! 👏👏👏 See Ye? It wasn't so hard to grab a damn mic and start singing.
-"LAST BREATH" is the 5% of the album that uses AI. Understandable since Ye is singing in Spanish, but some of it still sounds very lame.
-There were a lot of songs added to what I originally thought was going to be the tracklist, so either he kept the songs very well hidden or he made them all in this last couple of months. I quite liked them nontheless. KING is a really good intro.
-As for the original tracks, they definitively were finished, but like at same time...kinda changed a lot? I don't know how to explain it, it's weird, but in some of the them it's like the arrangements and the drums where washed through some filter.
-"BULLY" is a big disappointment in this regard because not only the music was changed, but so were the lyrics. I loved that they were so dreamy like and mysterious in the original version ('Serotonin, where you're going?"), not so much in the released version. I didn't mind CeeLo Green though.
-I was eager to see if Ye was insane enough to have told that bitch Pomme to take a hike and put the original "HIGHS AND LOWS" in the album, which would've automatically made him the target of a copyright infringement lawsuit. Alas, that is not the case; The sample from "soleil soleil" is replaced with a piano instrumentation that seems taken out of a boss battle theme for Resident Evil. I liked it all the same.
-"PREACHER MAN" has really good lyrics, but it's missing a beat that makes it great.
-"THIS ONE HERE" is not the angelical masterpiece it could've been, but it's still really damn good. The two versions before the oficial release were quite different from one another; this is more similar in sound to the "War" version, but the lyrics belong to the original "Bully" version.
-"I CAN'T WAIT" is an example of an song in which he didn't change the spirit of the song, but replaced the AI vocals and added lyrics. I think that shoud've been the same thought he should've applied to rest of the album.
-If "LOSING YOUR MIND" wasn't changed at all to what was the previewed version, it was correct to leave it out.
-"ALL THE LOVE" is my favorite track. What a banger. WIsh he would've used some of that freestyling he made for it, but whatever.
-What happened to "MELROSE"!!?? WHERE THE FUCK DID IT GO!!????

Regardless, considering this is Ye we're talking about, I highly doubt this is going to be final version of the album. We'll see what he does with it.

"Bully" is awesome. I've heard it about 4 times already all the way through. I think it's the best album he's ever made so far. I started being a fan since the "Ye" album and I think this is the first time he's made a good album as "Ye," other than the album last year we never got. It kind of feels like a mix of everything he's ever done and the Fight Club soundtrack. That was the feel I got. As a man with little patience for long songs, I appreciate having 18 shorter tracks. My favourites are "All the Love," "Bully," "Father," and oddly actually "Last Breath" because I like how it came together in the end with the Latin vibes and Spanish guy.

I don't believe Ye has really changed his opinions on the Jews and Hitler at all. He just said the magic words in public to get uncancelled long enough to get radio play. After he's made his money and Jews make sure he's not allowed back at the Grammies I'm sure he'll be dropping some beats and raising some arms again. And That's a Good Thing.

Its not really alleged, the original version of Bully was AI. Even theres still AI punch ins like the Preacher Man intro. I just like this album because I grew up on Motown and I recognize all the samlples 😂

We'll see what he does with it.
He seems unable nowadays to maintain that creative energetic state that he uses to make all his music. None of these songs are getting meaningfully developed past the initial idea, even if the initial idea is incredibly good (s/o to Preacher Man). Like I went and heard his Soul Mix with all the College Dropout/LR beats. And you realize, damn, any other artist would have just stopped there. But especially with College Dropout, he would have the initial idea and then just keep piling small shit on top of it, like not only the song intros, but the way his voice is compressed when he says "Oh yeah" at the start of We Don't Care, or how Jamie Foxx's vocals on Slow Jamz are sped up at parts, or how he's sampling soul songs with mixes that are already dense, somehow finding new spots to add instruments until you get the most vibrant songs possible. When ye is really cooking you can't even tell what the original idea of the song is because there's so much shit being added to it, and a lot of those ideas are good enough to be their own song.

I’ll never forgive him for scrapping the joint show he was supposed to have with Lady Gaga at the Forum waaaaay back in the day. I was on the list

Interesting that he ended the concert with some MBDTF, which he’s said for years that he hated that album but felt like he had to do to have a comeback when he kept making an ass of himself in the late 2000s. Seems like he feels he has to do the same anyway.
He seems unable nowadays to maintain that creative energetic state that he uses to make all his music.
He peaked from 2007-2011. His best days are long gone. Sure, Nigga Heil Hitler was a classic, but nothing that he makes today would even be outtakes you’d see during his peak. Which is fine as this nigga has been making beats now for over 25 years at this point.

Another article on the show, this one has a few photos.

After years of antisemitic behavior, the rapper formerly known as Kanye West performed his first full live show in the United States since 2021.

Interesting, I had only heard a little bit about that Soul Mix album, didn't know it was the beats. What's particularly interesting about CR is that it's the only album where he not only produced the music in a broader sense, he was the actual beatmaker (in some of LR maybe too).

Oh I 100% agree; even if it's heartfelt, he will change his mind and we'll back at DEFCON 3 all over again; it's already happened in 2023 before the rollout for Vultures; no reason why it won't happen again. I have a hunch that Ye's opinion about the funny hat people was made long before he was really vocal about it, it was just when they started to fuck him over in business deals that he grabbed the loudspeaker. Technically speaking, he never stopped working on "CUCKKK", it just got renamed to "In a Perfect World", and HH got reworked as "HALLELUJAH"

The thing about Kanye is that I feel he's his own worst enemy. Take "HH", If he had really taken himself seriously, it could be been a mind-bending hit released in his own website that would've melted the heads of TPTB...but he didn't. There was nothing serious in how he behaved last year regarding his recording saga. He switched the album he was working on 4 times, decided that the best producer he could find (besides DigitalNas) was a bunch of streamers, had Dave Blunts ghostwrite the lyrics, didn't sing one fucking bit and to avoid getting the songs cancelled he uploaded 7 (!) different versions of "HH" in a platform that turned out to be a scam. When he livestreamed the whole process, there was little work being done, and much incoherent rambling about...stuff. Then there was crediting "DONDA" as one the artists behind "DONDA 2" (Me, Myself, Donda?). And how can we forget about making some time months later to make an EP to support the "Free Diddy" cause? It was some amazing lowcow milk.

And remember, he's his own man now. He runs his own label. He can do whatever he wants.

He has the genius, the songs he worked for "CUCKKK" still sounded promising... It's just that he can't bring himself to finishing the music he's working on, he's not acting like he seriously wants the music he makes to be truly great, like his passion is not in it. Is it the nitrous? Is it mental illness? Is it the fact that he made it into fashion and music is not his main thing anymore? Who knows? It's all of the above I guess. Me, regardless of how the music comes out, I'm just glad he's still alive, I really thought he was gonna OD with the nitrous at some point; he's been in some dark places mentally, but for now he seems to be doing alright,
I’ll never forgive him for scrapping the joint show he was supposed to have with Lady Gaga at the Forum waaaaay back in the day. I was on the list

I'll never forgive him for not releasing the concert film for the "Glow in the Dark" tour. And for not making "TurboGrafx16". And "So Help Me God". And "Yeezus 2", And for not releasing "Never See Me Again". And...

Kanye "Ye" West is currently livestreaming his performance at SoFi Stadium.
He seems to be lip-syncing most of the music, but I'm still glad to see Kanye on a big stage again. I hope he performs Heil Hitler.

has he been live for over an hour already or was a lot of it build-up or opening acts? i kinda like kanye so gonna watch the rest just for the music. rewind seems to be disabled for this stream.

What the fuck even is this performance so far lmao.

It's the music playing while sometimes he lipsyncs or yells over the music on a black stage in a smokey spotlight.

It'd be funnier if it ended up being a body double like MF Doom would use.
