Aside from her complicity the reason why Khet is talked about is simply because Dave brings her up every 3 seconds. It would be as if Trump gushed constantly about Ivanka and how she was the force behind all his decisions and his Presidency but Dems are not allowed to criticize her because she's family and offlimits.
