It's been a few years now, but when we had the bankruptcy information she was only listed as working around 20 hours a week. I think we narrowed it down to her basically working three days, but I don't remember if that was outright confirmed or just speculation.
That still baffles my mind. They must really not like you if you're working the early shifts and out the door by 1-1:30 pm. Like they rather not have you around than relieve other people from working nights or weekends.

According to the bankruptcy she made either $1,742.32 / month (taken from the statement of monthly income) or $1,349.92 / month (taken from the initial petition) before all payroll deductions. The most charitable interpretation,, which still reflects poorly on her, is that the income on the statement of monthly income was averaged over the preceding six months whereas the income from the petition was as of the date Phil filed - if her hours were cut significantly that could explain the delta. Using minimum wage data from Seattle (we don't know if Kat worked within city limits but we do know from this Department of Labor page that Renton and Tukwila have even higher minimum wages, so this sees like a fair guess) that minimum wage for large employers, which would cover the large chains where she's worked, was $16 in 2019 and $16.39 in 2020.

Now to get the maximum hours Kat could have legally worked we divide $ 1,742.32 / month into $ 16 / hour to get 108.895 hours / month. Assuming 4 working weeks in a month (a bit low, this would only apply in February) and we get 27.22 hours / week. If we lowball her hours and highball her pay that works out to $1,349..92 / month $16.39 / hour and her hours would drop down to 20.6 hours / week. If she earned greater than minimum wage these hours would be overestimates, but there is no credible way for the 27 hours / week to be an underestimate. So to your post yeah, it's speculation because all we have is Phil's claims + the occasional noise from her putting the lie to his claim that she's working but the numbers line up neatly with three nine-hour days / week.

Where are you getting the early shifts bit from? So far as I can remember he's mentioned her working evening/night shifts - sometimes he'll answer chat questions by saying she's working during his streams, but never something about how she has to get up early. The only time I can remember him mentioning his girlfriend's early shifts was when Leanna was still around.

This would track with Phil's comments: He has complained that Kat has been passed over for promotions, she never gets her first choice of shifts, and that nobody at her work likes her; there was also one time he ranted about how retail jobs can be great when the company keeps its word. With hindsight this was probably his way of complaining Kat fucked up and the store did not cover for her.

The funniest part to me is how one week Phil will be talking shit about how retail workers are all morons and they'll hire any idiot to be a manager.

The next week he'll talk about how Kat can't get promoted to manager.

I have way too many day streams on during work, but I swear Phil always mentions that she just got home, and it's barely 2pm his time. Jasper gets shoved out during the day stream pretty often. Today it was 1:30pm his time.

If you're thinking a traditional retail job with closing hours, lets say even a mall right. Earliest a store typically closes is 7pm, and you usually don't leave until 7:30 pm with a closing shift. Which would mean that she'd get home during his night stream, which I cannot remember ever happening, as they "eat dinner" together, so she's gotta be home by 5:30?

Like I said before, you either have to be awful to work with (as in nobody wants to close with you because you make it take too long, you're not helpful, just a drag in general) to never get a closing shift, especially as a 20 hour worker. I had a job that gave me either 4 5hr shifts or 5 4hr shifts and at least 3 of those were closing shifts. The people who had the day shifts were working 32-40 hours.

So back to your theory, she's probably working one of those 2 things I mentioned (4 or 5 days, 4 hours a day or 4 days, 5 hours a day). I think most places won't bother scheduling you (or keeping you) if you're under 16 hours.

Where she works opens at 10am, and DSP says she works very early, which, in retail, isn't going to be much earlier than opening for a minor clothing store. So a rough estimate for her starting work is like 9am (she also isn't a manager so I doubt she opens so 9am is also generous).

DSP has also numerously also said when she gets home, which is nearly always ~20 mins past 3pm. 9am-3pm = 6 hour work days

Then a few weeks ago he complains how hard her job is and the schedule because she has to work 4 days -- implying she normally works 3 days are a time, likely max 3 days a week based on past evidence and knowing how much she made before; she's a lazy piece of shit just like Phil, she isn't getting promoted beyond part-time.

Therefore, I think she works 18 hour weeks at 6 hours a day for 3 days a week.

True but can be easily fixed with two words - feeder onlyfans.
Agreed. As Phillip said Kat is the main reason he went from 240 to 195. He has also stated, they do impromptu doordash orders when Kat messes up cooking or if they're lazy upwards to 4x a day. Kat is eating Phillip out of a house at home. Make-up mukbangs from Kat can help recoup some of his financal losses.

I'm pretty sure I've heard Phil mention Khet getting home during the day stream, but don't have any links to pull up and definitely do not care enough to find one. It's one of those Phil statements that's hard to take at face value because it's so easy to lie about/one of those weird things where he'd use it as a lie for apparently no reason. Maybe as an excuse to go and pull Hogans or something? IMO, it's not too big of a deal either way, it's one of those things I'm mildly curious when it gets brought up, but then forget about it a few minutes later because, like most Khet things, it's fairly uninteresting.

I think sometimes with Khet, there's an urge to fill in the blanks because people are reasonable and logical and think something like "surely there's no way she's just playing Skyrim and inhaling Doordash all day while maybe working a few hours here and there." It's kinda like how before the leaks and Champions knowledge, it was popular to speculate on what Phil was really doing with his money because it just seemed too unreasonable that even someone like Phil was wasting all of his money on gacha pulls.

I mean at the time there was actually quite some speculation that it was related to mobile games: https://kiwifarms.st/threads/darksydephil-theycallmedsp-phil-burnell.975/post-2618769 All of the dramas he went through with tax sagas and bankruptcy seemed like quite "logical" things to happen to someone who just had spoor spending habits. The fact that these were all caused by WWE champions and flying in khet is just funny.

Only judging by the things that he has plastered all over his streams I'd say he's equally obsessed with Jenna. I haven't seen any other detractor as obsessed with her either.
I enjoy ALT, and for such a new detractor he knows more than most of the older ones, and literally all of the detractor content creators IMO. Good listening while doing busywork or cleaning up. The Jenna shit is annoying as hell. I think the pulls thing is smart but as an old crotchedy fuck I wish he'd just knock it all off as it covers shit up from time to time making him an awful resource or archive. Not that he needs to be these things, but you know.

Edit:

Interesting note, while searching WWE Champions and the date of that post where he was doing an REEEEEMERGENCY vlahg to gather the dents to the board meeting and rattle the donation pan, I found that was the timing of the announcement of the first WWE Champions Zombies event. This was through reddit posts such as these discussing it as the original posts linked within are long gone. If you hover over the date (where it says 7 years ago) it's just a few days after his vlahg. The discussion around this started on the forums when the upcoming mystery event was hyped and only got bigger on the 24th, then the 27th I think the full public launch.

I think all of Kat's $ is going to medical bills. Probably has a 10-20k out of pocket, which would line up with her salary and why Phil makes her work (still shouldn't be working with his current salary). Most goes to medical expenses, a tiny bit goes to gamepass and the newest games (Yakuza), and the last chunk goes to creation club for the newest, hottest, skyrim content.

Aside from saving up for Ozempic what do you think she has going on medically specifically?

I couldn't even guess accurately. I 100% believe Phil when he says that they got health problems going on behind the scenes and he won't talk about it. The reason he doesn't talk about it, I believe, is cause it would hand the detractors a win by explaining why she is fat. If it was him, he'd be pity begging with it by giving all the details, just look at all the videos leading up to the gout reveal. ALT did a deep dive on Phil's medical history.

If I had really had to guess, it's diabetes or something serious that makes her too sick to get out of bed, be active, or workout. I know Doody has theorized that it might be a thyroid problem since he has a background in medical billing and her neck looked fatter than it should be.

It's not impossible, but Phil has used the vague "health problems" excuse for years with multiple people. The most infamous was probably when he implied his parents were going to die and he might not be able to see them again when they're literally fine and not even *that* old. And while there's no denying Khet is fat, she's not like "can't get out of bed without assistance" fat.

IMO, if there were actual doctor visits going on or medical payments happening, Phil wouldn't help but blab about them in greater detail. Even if he doesn't name names, we'd get 20+ minute rants about waiting rooms and how broken the healthcare system is and how doctors don't actually know anything etc.

I'm also on the fence about her weight gain being medical in nature. I think it's just the result of hermit lifestyle + doordash diet, with a sprinkling of unflattering sense of style.

Speaking as a practitioner, I would say she has multiple issues;

1 - A learning disability mixed with autism, "high functioning". This is because she is so suggestible and her speech patterns. She is very slow moving even when thin with clear message delay in movement.

2 - If I were to pick an educated guess rather than a suspicion it is due to her being on various antidepressive medications combined with antipsychotics. Numerous studies suggest that these medications make you more susceptible to type 2 diabetes. Additionally these medications would decrease her metabolism significantly and due to her age that would be a risk too.

I love when these conversations come up in this thread because theres a chance that everyone is right. And almost every suggestion is equally as funny. It's even funnier considering Phil talking shit about fat, depressed, insecure, childish etc people for 15 years, then marrying that exact type.

Honestly I'm going to go out on a limb...

She ain't working much, and if she does, they have her there when nobody is there. He said today she's getting home from work, which was around 2pm. Being as generous as possible, she works 9-1? 8-1? X to doubt for sure.
Yeah. That would be the daily lull before the high school hire would come in so only one person would be needed.

Most people whose partners bring in $100k+ a year either have an equally successful job, don't need to work at all, or open an antiques shop or something as hobby where they don't care about profit. Imagine your soul mate husband sending you off to work a part time retail job instead.
