Here's some :optimistic: speculation:

So this is kinda thunkful. Remember when DSP was complaining that Jasper woke him up and kept him awake from 5 AM until 9 AM? I thought it was weird how this didn't seem to bother Khet, the one with an actual job with a rigid starting time, she didn't get up and put Jasper out and close the door etc.

Well that might be because they have separate sleeping bedrooms and so only DSP got woken up. He later on refers to Jasper sleeping on her office chair, but that could just be pignosis, or she has a PC set-up in her bedroom.

To be fair, Kat works whatever shift is necessary to be an excuse for DSP to not do something.

If you keep track of Kat's shifts, it would be the same as keeping track of the days DSP pays bills, which appear to be 23 days per month. Kat works night shift when DSP can't extend a "chill stream", Kat works afternoon shift when DSP needs to take a break to talk to her before he leaves for work during a day stream, et cetera.
 
DSP was paying for Leanna's phone for months after she left. He was likely also paying for it for years while she worked. He doesn't make his bitches help pay bills.

also maybe it did bother her but phil didn't notice because his feelings override the feelings of everyone else

It was a literally scapegoat/golden child relationship where a narcisstic parent projects all of his own negative traits onto the scapegoat and all of his own positive traits onto the golden child.

Except Leanna was the scapegoat and there was no golden child.

Maybe Kat is the golden child now and Leanna still the scapegoat?

Maybe I'm putting WAY too much thought into this?

Wait, Kat has her own BILLS? And they can only be paid through her own personal phone?

Dafuq?

What bills could a wife possibly have that she doesn't share (at least knowledge of) with her husband and vice versa? I'm not talking about her having her own things or whatever, but DSP is describing this like Kat has bills that as her husband he has no right to see. Am I misinterpreting this?

Also, I understand DSP saying he doesn't have a right to see Kat's personal conversations with her friends because Kat does deserve some privacy in a healthy marriage, so that makes sense, but I also believe DSP doesn't have a single idea or even care who Kat's friends ARE, and that's a red flag.

After reading much of this thread to this point, it sometimes makes me wish that Subaru Man would just drop all the lore he can on Kat. Just a full exposure of just who she is as a person, with whatever evidence he could muster. We've got snippets from what he's said, and the BS that Dave has dropped... But we sit here and speculate. Sometimes I just wanna know, dammit.

And, if there were such a lore bomb... And Dave's chat was full of questions regarding her... Jesus, the amount of salt would put Morton's out of business. The Bonneville salt flats would be considered prime farmland by comparison (although driving through it, you'll sometimes see pine trees "planted" and standing with anchors and tethers...).

I still think Khet is just an incredibly boring and generic person. I think that's a requirement for being with Phil because when it comes down to it, he is equally boring and generic. The big wake up call for Leanna was going out to work and realizing that you can actually do things instead of staying in a condo all day begging for money. Most of what we see of Kat is her just sitting in her office playing video games on a weirdly small monitor. And we know she likes cats. I'd be surprised if there was anything more to her as a person than those basic traits. The most interesting thing about her is her crazy family stuff. Maybe there's more there in that regards, but even then, it arguably has little to do with Khet and more to do with her being surrounded by crazier people.

Holy shit, are they already seperated and roommate status? It couldn't be! Dave would be having nightly gin-fueled tweets to cope with this massive blow. Either way, I am sure some detractors are going to donate to him asking him why khet has a seperate room she stays in with him immediately going full RANT rage mode. Oh God my sides are prepared for this one :story:
 
You know, considering Phil definitely knows that Kat is a cheater, and his enormous overcompensation about the question of them sharing a phone and how he absolutely doesn't need to know anything she does on it. And the fact that he pays the phone bill.

He's 100% monitoring the bill to see who Kat's calling, how much and who she's texting, and how much data she uses. She's too suspect, and he's just too insecure not to. There's no other reason for the almost bitter tone when he says "Kat has her own life" despite how many other times he says "Kat and I have built a life together."
 
Alternate Theory:

DSP is anal about Khet having her phone be totally private because it means that she can't turn around and demand to see who he texts/DMs. Is he already pig-grooming a new wee piglet? 🤔

Kat is an incredibly boring fucking person. The few streams she came on with Dave demonstrated that she has no opinion on anything, barely has any discerning interests, and doesn't care much for anything. She's as bland as your generic fucking Walmart ice cream. There's nothing special about her.

Oh she likes anime? She likes generic FPS? She likes the video-games everybody else likes? Cool. Nobody fucking cares. She has no discernible qualities and she's ugly as fucking sin. That girl has taken Ls her entire life and being with Dave is arguably a big W for her. She's low-brow, CT trailer trash. Bitch fucking sucks.

That's why she matches with DSP so perfectly: they're both ridiculously boring and uninteresting. I don't think there's some grand secret that Khet is suffering greatly stuck in a shithole marriage. Based on her upbringing and the social class she was raised in, being with Phil is probably a big win for her. She's living the middle class life and has to do very little to be pampered. She found her cuckold and will stay until whatever baseline she has set for herself is not being met.

DSP and Khet are just your average boring couple. You ever seen a couple walk down the street and think: "Man, they must have a really boring sex life." That's Khet and Dave. Nothing about them is interesting and exciting, and that suits Dave perfectly fine.
