Here's a simple solution in the event you don't want to make a few stops to change your surname as part of your post-nuptuals: just don't do it. It makes exactly zero fucking difference outside the sentimentality of the married couple, and as such if it's that much trouble you don't get to bitch about it after the fact.

Also 100% accurate. Any issues can again be cleared up with a marriage certificate.

for the last eleven years he's been buoyed up by a small but dedicated throng of willful naïfs in lieu of actual employment

This is goddamn near poetic. Bravo, man.

Kat probably hates cooking. Dsp or kat’s probably just using the time shopping as an excuse to spend some more time together. Or maybe he’s just trying to keep the leash a little extra tight.
They grocery shop together because that's what Phil did with Leanna and everything he did with Leanna he now does with Kat. In fact the whole origin of this day off is Leanna telling Phil they need to spend more quality time together and Phil's answer was "I'll take a day off a run errands. That's the kind of quality time she's looking for."

And before Leanna, Phil went shopping with his mom.

I last time Phil went shopping by himself was last thanksgiving and he bought a 5lb slab of lunch meat and then tried to cook it in the oven. He was disappointed that black forest ham didn't taste like caramel even though the ingredients said "caramel coloring"

Phil says:
  • He would like to cook dinner more but he can't because of how frequently he gets done streaming and then Kathy has to go to work at 4:30-5:00pm
  • Sometimes she goes to work later and there is enough time (at a store that closes at 9 or 10pm)
  • After tomorrow Jasper will be available for streams the next 4 days in a row (Jasper is only "available" when Kathy is at work)
  • Phil has "lost a ton of weight" because Kathy "cooks really good meals and we don't hardly go out to eat ever"
  • Kathy would not like watching 'Joker' because she doesn't like movies about "murdering/serial killers"
  • Phil will sometimes have a dessert, but it just like 3 Reese's mini-cups, he doesn't eat anything sweet like that ever
  • Phil does not have any "guilty foods" that he eats, everything that he eats is completely healthy now
  • Phil and Kathy watched 'E.T.' together last night after their "hectic" day out, neither Phil or Kathy cried during 'E.T.' because "it is so outdated, seriously it is so unrealistic you don't get 'the feels' anymore"
  • Phil doesn't have a favorite fast food place. He then recites his personal Tier List regarding fast food. Wendy's is his favorite "for a burger", but he "doesn't really like fast food" becasue "fast food doesn't really 'blow me away'"(Piggy has more expensive tastes)
  • Phil is constantly plugging 1 nostril and dry sniffing throughout this. Someone asks Phil if he's sick. Phil is not sick, he has no idea why anyone would think that (he's unaware of his motor ticks as he performs them)

Kathy is working 4 or 5 hour shifts like 4 times a week. Phil sits in his office all day alone while his wife is home, she then leaves for work right after 1st stream. The only time they spend together is after Phil's 2nd stream, and on grocery/restaurant day. They have an amazing life together. Their new marriage is clearly the envy of the internet.

I speculate this chick is working 20-25 hours a week, 30 max. Just enough to pay for her Health Insurance, and a few toys, and make minimum payments on her nebulous amount of debt.

lol She doesn't like E.T? After a year of rampant speculation about her character, her motives and her mental condition this pretty much answers all queries for us; she's a miserable cunt just like her man. They truly deserve each other.

Retail limits hours unless she is a manager. So she is probably working 20 hours or less. It is weird she is home and doesn't pop in and say hi while stream is running. Every streamer i watch who has a gf or maybe roommate they always say hi. I know DSP's reality is warped but why can't Kat venmo him 20 dollars for goose game?

Every time he brings up his schedule, I bang my head on a desk.

DSP makes his own schedule!

If he "wants to see his wife more", why doesn't he stream while she's at work?

Here's an idea: have the two hour stream FIRST, then go make dinner and spend time with his wife, THEN go have his four hour stream.

If Kat has to go to work at 4:30, then why doesn't DSP stream from 11-1 then 5-9?

If he wants to see his wife more why didn't he call the stream quits when he beat the game 40 minutes before closing time?

He doesn't want to see his wife more. He hates spending time with her more than he hates gaming. Which is really fucking odd.

He doesnt want to be around her, because he knows she'll make him do things. (sound of whip cracking in the distance...)

Phil is afraid. I'm convinced he feels like he's spinning plates insofar that he thinks if he changes anything, ANYTHING about his routine there's a significant risk he will lose viewership long term. On the micro level he's scared to play different games than the one he announced on his schedule and on the macro level he's scared to take days off or alter the hours. I don't know why he thinks this, perhaps he's projecting his autism, perhaps he's an idiot, who can tell with this guy.

It is weird she is home and doesn't pop in and say hi while stream is running. Every streamer i watch who has a gf or maybe roommate they always say hi.

What's funny is that Phil will sometimes do a "Hold on guys I feel like need to sneeze so Im going to mute the mic and be right back", and he leaves for 1-2 minutes, which is super beliveable because Phil can't even be bothered to mute his own overexaggerated throat-clears and snorts. So there is no doubt that he does this when Kat pokes her head in the "office" to talk to Phil. It rarely happens, but the fact that he has to go through the whole sneeze charade is a testament to how paranoid she is about being anywhere near Phil's stream.

To be fair to Kat, I don't think it is odd she doesn't pop in. She's a troll magnet, and she knows Phil's audience is full of detractors. Even if she's not part of chat, I don't think it is a stretch to say Phil brings up the detractors a fair amount. I mean, he was tweeting about us on his wedding night, just to show how much we live in his head. The few times she has been around, there's been some pretty deep digs into her, talking about the demon possession family nonsense and her ex, among the less subtle horse comments and the like. Even Phil's actual fans who aren't trolling are just pretty weird, so I wouldn't want to hang around them either.

Her not financially helping out though, if true, is a very valid criticism. I'm always hesitant to comment on this one because there's no way to confirm it. IMO, Phil has too much pig ego to let Khet cover his expenses. But we know that Phil is lying about not being able to afford games. With Goose game especially, we know this is a lie because there was all the drama with him getting the donation then the next day insisting he couldn't afford it. I also can't imagine Khet would stick around with Phil if he was actively draining her account, especially since she can't be making that much from what is most likely a 20-30 hour a week minimum job.

Kat played Kirby's Dreamland 3 on the Switch at 10:30 at night during Phil's "day off" when he is supposed to be spending time with his wife.

Is the reason Phil can't stream when Kat is off work sometimes because she won't let him?

Why does Kathy need to use Phil's Nintendo Switch? They bought her her own Switch so that she could play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on their flight to the secret wedding so that she wouldn't be bored on the plane and have to talk to her fiancé or something equally horrific.

It's like she works some minimum wage job part-time and can't even afford to pay the $1.67 per month for her own Nintendo Online service. Phil better step up and buy the Family Membership for $34.99 a year if he knows whats good for him. Do you want your family to think you can't provide for them Phil?

Phil's really letting his family down on this one :(

I don't know where you got this lore from.

Phil said he bought two Wi-Fi packages for the flight so they could play phone games. Unfortunately Phil bought both plans with the same email that is associated with his phone so the Wi-Fi only worked on his phone. He said he played games and Kat got to watch.

Oh, I guess they just bought her her own copy of BotW and packed Phil's Switch for the trip?

He reminds me of those business owners on Kitchen Nightmares (BBC show/Fox remake) that don't want to let Gordon Ramsey make changes because the changes "will drive away their loyal customers" even though they are literally months from bankruptcy. Even though their loyal customers would actually embrace the changes most likely.
