I'm pretty confident Phil makes most of, if not all the purchases, but I'd be surprised if Khet's purchases added too much onto it. The biggest extra Khet expense is having a second person to buy overpriced food for. Other than that, Khet seems to have as many interests as Phil does, so it doesn't seem like she's making him pay for any hobbies. Gaming seems to be her main thing, but it sounds like she's playing dated games, and newer releases, like AC, Phil would buy for himself anyway.

There was probably an initial surge in clothes and stuff when she moved, plus the price of plane tickets and stuff. It's certainly not nothing, but it's just a fraction of the money Phil normally throws away. Phil also tends to brag about any purchases he makes. Even if it was just something for Khet, he'd want to boast about it to show how good of a husband he is. The exercise bike is the immediate thing that comes to mind. I guess any Jasper related expense also counts as being Khet related too, since I can't imagine a world where Phil gets a cat on his own.
 
what are the odds kat is fucking someone else already and phil knows but can't say anything otherwise it breaks his adult facade
 
Kat and Phil likely are on the rocks already and the only difference between him and Leanna going Cold War on each other is that after Phil asked Leanna to marry him she still left and Kat already tied the knot.

Kat likely doesn't want to ditch her safe skyrim haven she moved halfway across the country for but she will sooner or later because its unsustainable forever the same way Leanna was.

Its clearly fraying at the seams because Phil either doesnt talk about her at all or refuses to say her name if he does. The only thing they ever do is grocery shop and make dinner for each other (really make dinner and the other can have some).

On the topic of white trash breakups though, bitches ain't paying for no divorce filing. She'll straight up leave his ass and (if she's smart) jack all his shit while she bails. And if Phil wants to spend money on a divorce filing for her that's fine. But she won't be the one to file. And I don't think Phil's ego could take it hitting the internet.

This is pure speculation since there's really no way to prove it, but I'd wager Khet has similar hermit desires to Phil. Anyone with a traditional social lifestyle wouldn't last this long with Phil. She was also able to just drop everything and move when she started hooking up with Phil, not to mention I don't remember anyone finding any traces of her having close friends on her social media. On its own, that isn't necessarily damning, but on top of everything else, I think it shows she isn't too interested in any people interactions, friendly or otherwise.

It's possible she's way more social during the week when she isn't working, but it sounds like she just spends her time in her office playing games. I think if she was going out and doing things, Phil would have mentioned it just because he rambles on about everything else in his life. He'd certainly complain if Khet was trying to get him to do stuff with her. At least with Leanna, we got the odd mention of work friends, but it seems like Khet is just home with Jasper on her non-work days. The few times he's mentioned her lately, it sounds like she's been complaining about customers, so I can't imagine she's overly social at her job. Granted, part of that could just be natural work frustration, or possibly Phil putting words in her mouth.

That's one of the reasons I don't think she's left Phil. I don't doubt that she could go out and land someone better than Phil. Not because she's particularly appealing or anything, more it's hard to really do worse than Phil, even for someone like Khet. But, I think she'd be hard pressed to find someone who is happy enough to just leave her alone most of the day, except for those 10 minutes when they swing by the drive through to get something to eat. As long as Phil keeps putting a roof over her head and keeps up with the electric bill, she doesn't need to move on/look for someone else, because it doesn't seem like she wants much more in her life.

If it weren't for the fact some of their restaurants are no longer open/delivering, I don't think either one of them would notice there is a quarantine going on.

What you said was entirely spot on. Assuming she's the same kind of shut-in that Phil is, they're both right in their respective wheelhouses by staying home and not doing shit.

The greater point to what I said was more related to how Khet, independent of Phil, could easily find some horn to rub up on, regardless of what a bunch of internet nobodies think of her. She's not a 10/10 by any means, but she's not so horribly unattractive that she couldn't land a rando weiner for 20 seconds on any given night.

If we take things at face value, they're a match made in purgatory. Neither likes contact with other people, neither wants to take criticism, both "enjoy" (your interpretation of enjoy may vary) playing video games, both shit on tractors... They're the same person, except we don't know who has bigger boobs vs moobs.

Both are trash people, and we get to laugh at their exploits.
 
I've had this pet peeve about "Kat" since she showed up but I wanted to mention it again and ask. Does anyone hate the fact that her fucking name is Catherine but Dark calls her "Kat" with a K? Did she legally change her name in the mid 2000s to "Katherine" because that's what is on the documents for her breaking and entering around 2013 and she signed the marriage certificate as "Kat St Jean"

I went back to check and I just noticed that she was also born in CT, like dsp... Didnt remember that detail.

Do we have any idea what she was doing in Michigan before "Subaru Man"? She moved around so frequently that I think something funny must have happened; the "wannabe hermit" theory makes sense but it doesn't line up with moving every 1-2 years.

Also on the 'Kat' thing I've never heard someone shortening Catherine to Cat, its always Kat. Catherine, Cathy, Kat. Just how it works.
