If my wife worked part-time just so she had some extra spending money instead of coming to me for it, knowing how much I earn streaming, I'd see that as a bad sign. The weirdest part is that DSP is the one with the house and all the money, yet he seems to be the one much more dependent on his wife, than the reverse.

Just a bizarre set-up that I have trouble wrapping my mind around tbh.

Yeah, the whole scenario with Katherine working most of the time she's been there while Phil is making 6 figures is puzzling to me. That's not how obvious gold digger situations work. I can't imagine Katherine ever wanted to work these shit minimum wage jobs at a supermarket, she screams autistic shut-in every time I've watched her stream.

The only thing I can think of is Katherine sees this as like what eventually happened with Leanna... get Phil to fund her move to nice Seattle area, use him for a while until you build some sort of life and can move on. But, I'd assume Phil would be terrified of this scenario.

I think it's been stated here before, but Kat never struck me as your traditional gold-digger. You can just look at Jenna to see that she grew up poor white trash, so both of them are no strangers to trying to get out of that life by any means necessary. Kat was just cursed and/or blessed to be a little uglier and a little duller, so she couldn't whore herself out in the traditional way that Jenna does. But when Phil came knocking, he was able to pignosis her with just how 'rich' he was; doesn't matter that a notch above six figures is barely upper middle class (and not even that, in Seattle), because the gulf between 120k a year and 20k a year seems massive when you've never been on the higher end of it. Some podunk white trash girl from middle of nowhere Michigan could find a lot of ways to live with herself sleeping next to Phil, if she's living a lifestyle of comfort and safety she's never known before. I could easily see her job as just an excuse to get out of the house away from him, with maybe a few extra spending bucks as a bonus.
 
With Phil completely sperging out going full eunuch at any romance scene between a man and a woman (or two women) in a video game, saying it's immature, dumb, stupid, unnecessary etc. Even saying that him doing those romance subplots are "like cheating on his wife" during one FE:3H stream, do you think Khet is allowed to get married in her Skyrim playthrough(s)? I mean, it's like she's cheating on Phil according to pig logic

You know, It genuinely makes me sad for anyone that Phil is the better option, like how far gone are you that someone like Phil is a valid "option" in life ? That's like saying the hellraiser box is a lovely vacation spot and while I would be willing to give that trip a go for shits and tickles I am not sure sacrificing oneself to Phil is a wise idea. There is no payout at the end.

A sexless (major downer) and loveless (not my thing but most people) union where you work part time to buy your toys and the rest of your time is spent as a housekeeper/caretaker of an essentially invalid person. I do that/this shit and its a drag but I am at least paid for my service, I wouldnt contract into it via marriage. That's some scary shit.

I pretty much think Kat is just a pill popping slut who just sells herself from one person to the next just so she may exist in life with the least possible hardship to herself. Basic bitch basically. I bet she is honestly very content right now. She lives much like Phil does, the mind frames and all.
