It's on indefinite hiatus so that he can focus all his energies on his big lawsuit against Paramount and Sega Sammy for plagiarizing his TRUE and HONEST ORIGINAL ideas of giving Knuckles a father, giving Knuckles a tribe, having Knuckles guard a giant green emerald, and Knuckles himself.
I saw the movie, and literally NONE of Ken's concepts are mentioned or heavily referenced. He's wasting his time tbh

EDIT: I just remembered that Ken admitted to not having seen the movie, and that he was told about his supposed concepts being present.

Still at with roe

Dr. Ian Droid? Doctor Ian-fucking-Droid? I thought this was aimed for adults. Try a little harder my dude.
Then again this is named the Lara-Su Chronicles. Which, at least to a filthy non-american foreigner like me, sounds like the life story of a farmer's daughter in Louisiana.

Maybe Ken is just not very good at naming things...

ken is just out right terrible at naming

I got to thinking just now. I could be wrong here but hear me out. I honestly the problem with Ken Penders isn't that he's a terrible writer but that he lacks any kind of literary pedagogy that informs how he writes. Which is kind of weird, because you don't need to study literature to have one, but I'd wager money he just doesn't read. Instead he emulates the things he thinks of as high art without understanding why they work.

He should study and be informed more but instead he is not informed. He acts like a pseudo intellectual.

Ken is a big DC fan, he based his entire naming scheme on how Kryptonians were named. But only the females, I think? Which just always seemed.. weird.

Don't forget there was a character literally named Mari-Su.

I'm sure he would have if Knuckles didn't already exist to ruin it.

Considering the sheer amount of ideas he's stolen from Star Trek, Superman, and Arthurian legends (but mostly star trek) I wouldn't be surprised if he has no real method of parsing out the meaning behind literary devices, themes and symbols beyond mostly just putting them into something and having it happen. It worked there, so it has to work here, right? Things just sort of happen to the characters, and the characters serve the story, when it should be the other way around, while never asking "why", just "how". It's such a fundamental misunderstanding I'm shocked he passed any kind of schooling.

I know I'm an eternity late to this, but this just goes to show how retarded Ken is. Tom is such a low-tier character and Sonic being a kid hurts the film franchise more than helps because it harms the integrity of his freedom-loving "come what may" attitude. It's probably the cringiest thing about the movies other than the flossing. Serious question: who gives a shit about Tom? He's so garbage-tier most people (myself included until I read tweets and shit with his name in them) don't even know his name, he's just "the cop guy" or "Donut lord." By the second movie he's a redundancy.

Penders turned Archie Sonic into Kingdom Hearts: Stupid, convoluted trash that only autists could ever really enjoy. It added some flavor - maybe but only after other writers came in to clean up the mess - and even then more of an obscure lore/databook sort of thing, less a story-telling thing. Penders can't write his retarded stories with his stolen Sonic OCs for one reason... he knows deep down his characters are nothing without the backbone of the SatAM lore to hold them up. Remove sonic from them, and they're boring, uncanny-looking furries.

Now there is something I havent heard before comparing Archie sonic to kingdom hearts it’s fitting on so many levels it’s a bloody mess when it comes to lore. Oh this is rich coming from him5842849C-6B17-44FB-8960-52E9ABE92621.jpeg

I'm sure Ken is content in having Knuckles' half-brother, with his very original name of Kneecaps.
Actually, Ken wanted to call him Mace. Karl Bollers came up with the idea of calling him Kneecaps. Obviously, both writers didn't get along and had to compromise by naming him Knecapeon "Kneecaps" Mace (dumb name I know). How do I know this? Sonic Autism is a very fascinating subject.

I think sonic autism needs to get a thread dedicated to the subject

That actually doesn’t look that bad. I wonder what he did differently to not make it suck
At least it’s slightly better than his other sonic art pieces but only slightly
