@AWB-81 @F. Hausdorff i'm grabbing a bunch of images and screencaps right now. anything else?

@F. Hausdorff and @CatParty

Uploaded the images and mended the references. I placed several of the images in infoboxes and placed 8 of the pieces in a gallery. I will add more of Catparty's images into there. Now with just a few tweeks and some review, I think this thing should be ready for primetime. I am sure there will be changes. There are always changes, but it works for a start. I want to add some more meat to my areas and integrate some of CatParty's thoughts, too.

Still Kenneth is best in very mild doses. The extreme shifts of horrifying and dull make my head hurt. There are other cows more interesting than him.

F. you did a great job with the writing. I feel arrogant for thinking I could write when I read what you wrote. You should ask null to work on more articles!

Catparty, it is a pleasure when I can work with you! Thanks for the kind words!

@AWB-81 Aren't you just the nicest? :heart-full: And my thanks to you for helping with the references and the pictures - someday I'll figure out how they work.

Totally agree with you about the dangers of suffering permanent brain damage from surfing Kengle's creations too long. I am going to go back and explore a bit more tomorrow to see if there's anything I can add to his insanity. I think it would be good to have one or two examples of his created horrors on the page, too (Demonchu anyone?). The other thing is that other than Chris, I'm relatively new to the "lolcow scene", so I don't have a very good working knowledge of the Powerwords of some of the other lesser cows. I'm curious to know if he comments on anyone else's shit other than those we've already put up.

EDIT: Question for @Null - can banned users still view the forums as guests? Is it possible that Kengle knows about his wonderful new wiki page? I'm sorely tempted to ask him directly...

Kengle has never attempted to join the forums since the move to a permanent location, to my knowledge. The software doesn't block guests.

@F. Hausdorff

Nah, I am not being nice as much as just being honest. I am guessing you write for a wiki, class, or news service. As for the references and infoboxes, I just try to stay useful. If I cannot do something well, I just let someone else do it who is better and help them. You know teamwork! :)

That is part of the reason I, took so long to reply to this. We both seem to feel the same way on his "Artwork". I can read or look at the works of other cows all day, but his is just ... there is something very wrong with him. There I said it!

I have put up quite a few of Catparty's images and will do more today. I really am not sure if the world is ready for DemonChu. That thing is where it belongs, on Kenneth's web page where no one will ever see it. :biggrin: Just kidding, I will try to put it up, today.

As for Kenneth trying to reach out to anyone else; I have my own theories on that, but those are best not talked about here. If I say them, it might tip others off or CatParty will put a tinfoil hat on me. I will say this, we have had a lot of lolcows popping up lately to talk about their threads...

As for the powerwords, do not worry about those. There are going to be many eyes that go through these pages. I am new to the farms myself and still learning much of the vocabulary. It is better to write the article the way you did. If there are issues, Null or one of the other project leads will bring them up and correct us.

I figured I would let Null answer that question. Seeing as he has been stalked by this horrifying dullard. I can guess from how much of Null, Champthom, Glaive, and the Cows are incorporated into much of Kenneth's content or twitter following, he probably comes to these forums quite often. He may even post a little, but wised up enough to not admit that it is him posting.

The article is a lot better than I thought it would be.

3 things on my mind:
1) I removed a small joke in a level 2 heading. seemed arbitrary.
2) I saw at least one ref tag pointing to the same website. This works the same, and better:
<ref name="google">http://google.com</ref>
<ref name="google" /> -- this instance will always point to the first defined instance.
3) I don't like galleries. I see their usefulness but I need to think of a better way to handle that.

2.) I will keep that in mind for future pages.
3.) I can move some of the images into infoboxes, to support the article, but I was trying to avoid cluttering things up too much.

Kengel has a lot of art work though and it all speaks for itself. A gallery seemed like the best fit, but I am open to suggestions and improvements.

Yeah I know what you mean. Leave it be and I'll think of something better.

I added a section on Kengle's Herculean wranglings with technology and beefed up the section on his interactions with Chris. Do you think it's advisable to place his website information under this section or will that create too many subheadings? I'd like to organise this article a little better, I think.

I don't have a Twitter account (maybe I should take a course?), so perhaps someone who does could add some stuff about his dealings with Jace or others? Again, I apologise for being exceptional with the references so I'm going to have to shamefully leave those to someone more competent than me. *sigh*

I still haven't been able to bring myself to add anything about his "original content" but I might do so later.

I think it's @F. Hausdorff , but someone is trying to link by using template brackets.

{{http://google.com}}

This is not correct.

If you're trying to link, do this:
[http://google.com] or [http://google.com Google]

If you're trying to archive, you have to use archive.today first, then follow the template syntax guide that's stickied.

When you use double quotes, what you're doing is trying to include a template named:
Template:http://google.com

@Null, what I'm trying to do is understand how the ref tag works. I don't really understand what the codes like "HsNNe" are referring to, so I'm doing <ref>{{URL}}</ref> temporarily until I (or someone else) can figure out how to deal with it. I understand about the archive thing. What's the five character sequence for though?

You have to go to archive.today (a website) and archive the page. It gives you an ID in the URL. You have to use that ID.

you should also visit the template page. I write documentation.

When you save a site into Archive.today, there is a 5 character code that is essentially the page the archive is from.

The template feature allows the code to be inserted seemlessly.

Or what @Null said...

Okay thanks guys, I think I'm working it out. I'm going to try and fix it up.

EDIT: I'm tapping out for now, I have a massive headache between archiving stuff and attempting to deal with Kengle's madness. I dare the next editor to try and interpret Jee Jee the Romulan.

@F. Hausdorff

Alright, I will tap in then. Thanks for writing so much in the article. Like I said before, Kengel is tolerable in very small doses. Too much and you will get sick. Some think I am exaggerating, but this guys work is a stylistic mess. I got the headaches too. I am sure @Null will laugh, but this guys work is like that.

Jee Jee the Romulan is a very disgusting page. F, you did great. Why not pick a different cow to work on or just have fun on the farms.

If there is time, I suggest you sign up for Katsu's Short Story Contest. I think you would be really good. ;)

I also want to place a part in this talking about his obsession with Null and the farms.

Null, any objections?

Ahh, I just saw this. I wouldn't have been able to cobble together anything good in a few hours anyway.

So, tangential to the Kengle thread, it seems that he's not only (a) discovered his article but (b) is ranting against @Null, and I understand that this isn't the first time. (Again, why he thinks it's a good idea to post it on Facebook is beyond me.) I don't know the history here (I assume it's largely to do with him being b&), but it seems worth including in the article since this is the closest to an outburst we're ever likely to get from him.

I have never interacted with Kengle directly and actively avoided and censored mentions of his name for almost 2 years because of his compulsive, grotesque attention-seeking behavior.

That's fucking funny. In that case I'll leave it to your discretion since all the communication is evidently one-sided.

EDIT: Does anyone have caps/archives of the 789chan threads about him? I only did a basic Google search but couldn't get anything (I don't know if 789chan also prunes threads the way /b/ does or whatever).
