If Kent was not main track and still struggling in middle school yea, he'd have a hard time even in a degree mill school. I don't think his future is as bleak as some assuming he put his foot down about improving his life. Now let me theorize a touch, Kent said his trouble's started in middle school. Middle school is a big change as we know Kent brags about coming from a good and wealthy home, while it's not a promise but statistically speaking, kids do better in good house holds. Kent may have had a benefit of a lot of in home attention and education so grade school was a breeze for him as he was a head of the curve. Being he was ahead before and spoiled this was his first time to see a challenge. Kent had no idea how to adapt and through some events was labeled learning disabled. So Kent's missed out his formative years in a class that would help him function in a different setting. Not that it's an excuse why he's how he is but if his disability wasn't found till later he could see it as a turning point to the end almost. He went from plush life to coddled. He's never needed to lift a finger so he's never learned and he's never been forced too.

This is what makes me wonder how he got lost behind. It sounds like his parents care about him, so perhaps his school failed him? We will never know since Kent hasn't revealed enough on this subject.

With those outbursts we see, it's lucky he's a manlet he's probably smart enough to know IRL if he swung on someone he'd be eating curb. The time he sinks into these tirades are pretty upsetting. I really don't see him ever doing something violent thankfully, and to be honest and not make a joke out of it I don't know if he's got what it takes to self harm, there are very little details on his attempts. If anything I don't mean that as lol do it pussy but as a good Kent probably doesn't have it in him to end it over trivial stuff that he sees as a big deal. Granted I do get a chuckle one of his reasons he's a good person is because he won't go on a shooting spree, no Kent not going on a shooting spree is called fucking remotely sane not making you a good person. It's up there with my life's on track because I shower for the lulz. Also if anyone's a bit worried Kent's got a few years till he could legally attempt to buy a firearm.

I have heard with ADHD you can get meltdowns, so that could explain why he goes into those angry tirades at times.

As for firearms, Kent is old enough to purchase one. We know that he turned 21 years old because he went to Seattle recently. That trip to Seattle was his birthday gift. How feasible is that Kent could purchase a firearm legally? I'm not sure sure about that. I heard that California is one of those states which has restrictions on firearms if you have mental health issues. Perhaps major depression or attempted suicide on his medical record is enough to bar him from buying a firearm in California.

You have to watch the three part series where recalls what he enjoyed about his trip to Seattle. Hopefully you can see them when Kent makes his videos visible again.

With the space needle, Kent kept bring it up to the point where he came off as if he was fixated on it. The worst part was that Kent didn't do too much of a great job explaining to us why he was so intrigued by the space needle. It's not the only restaurant that is inside a building that rotates in the United States, but I guess that grabbed a hold of his attention that well.

Well it's kinda cool and it's what everyone knows about seattle and if you've never seen one before... But it's kind of underwhelming when you see it, I think personally. There are much better places to go with shorter lines.

I'd have to admit that Seattle is not the first place I would want to visit, although I am sure it would be an enjoyable trip nonetheless. I assume a critical reason why Kent wanted to go to Seattle in the first place was because one of his favorite sports teams are there. So Kent got to see the Seahawks, then get to enjoy what else Seattle had to offer to him.

Yes his meltdowns are very ADHDesque, I forget but there it a type of adhd where you can have those sorts of issues but don't get the lack of executive control that would manifest in a dirty room so much, it's somewhat rare though IIRC.

That's interesting to know. I guess the condition manifests itself in many different ways. Hygiene and cleanliness doesn't appear to be a problem with Kent, which is a good thing.

It's very common for kids with access to shrinks and counseling to get into special ed for extra help but the mandate is that such programs exist, not that they're effective. I can see how kent wouldn't fare well going through one that's neglected. From there his social development would stall out. Then he'd be left with little education and below average social skills by graduation. He's only 21 he can still pull it together if this is the case.

You know, you just reminded me of a good point. From what Kent briefly described about his high school experience, it sounds like in this special ed class they gave him more easy work. If I remember correctly, Kent mentioned that he at some point of time was doing the same subjects in math that he already learned in middle school.

Since @ChuckSlaughter and @servbotsays really did an awesome job on the rest I'll jump in with just what area I have a back round in since I can't really add on your guys points great posts as always, we are lucky to have such fine members of Kent Paradise.

Roughly Kent was late 19 20 when he was last hospitalized, after that it's a 5 year wait so somewhere in the 3 year range. Now in either WA or CA state he'd have to file his 4474, now with those states he may need a pre screen shrink visit to get a pass even after the cool down period, and not being a firearms lawyer in those states he may be up for denial regardless. Also any FFL has a protected refusal sales right, and Kent claims he can barely read or write so he may misfile the form to the point he's denied, gives up trying to fix it or the dealer feels he's not able to safely own a fire arm. Also with Kent's poor restraint speaking if he wants to buy said arm and admits he's lying to get one that's a huge no no.

Kent is a nice guy so he doesn't hang with low lifes so he'd not be able to get a firearm off the street, and I have a sneaking feeling he's not the most handy so even a real simple "prison" build gun is beyond him. All that aside pretending he finds a dealer willing and he can manage to get OK'd then comes the cost of buying a firearm, this can varry from say 100USD (that's like 2 hats!) to 250k+. While Kent doesn't seem as hard up as most lolcows he's still got no idea on things like budgeting and wants toys first since he's never had a bill to deal with. Unless you enjoy shooting it'll seem like it'll rob his hat funds so he might not be able to save up for a fire arm.

tl;dr
I don't buy lottery tickets but I have a better chance winning than Kent does of getting a gun.
