Not again... Not so soon... UGH. Here are my (hopefully very brief) thoughts on the 35 minute long "Speaking On Some Things That's On My Mind Being Open & Honest About Myself":

Jeez, Kent looks really depressed in this one. He says he's made bad decisions in his life because he doesn't think. Did he get fired for talking to women?!?

Wait. Oh. No. You've got to be kidding me. He's sad because he didn't ask for the trashcan girl's phone number then and there. Unbelievable lol! Never change, Kent. never change.

Kent is sad because he isn't where he wants to be in life. I recall that he once wanted to be a police officer, but I think he's long since given up on that dream. He talks about being bullied as a kid, and wishing he'd stood up for himself. He feels like time is passing him by and alludes to his oft-mentioned flashbacks that prevent him from moving on in life. Kent specifically talks about how he wishes he was more confident, which seems to openly contradict everything he ever says in his Kentfidence series. He seems to be suffering from depression pretty badly today.

Kent believes his problem is that he second-guesses himself a lot and makes a lot of stupid mistakes, and then people want to shame him for failing. People have called him "retarded," "dumb," "stupid," and "uneducated." He asserts that the people who love him hurt him the most, which once again suggests that his home life isn't great. "Maybe that's why I am the way I am. Maybe that's why I say the things that I say." Wow. That's actually profoundly self-aware for Kent. It's definitely at least partially true.

"The thing about me is, I'm not ashamed to tell you guys the problems that I have and the things that I go through, the things that I really struggle with, the things that I have a hard time with... The thing about me is, I have no shame... in my game."

^Would have been a pretty powerful remark if he didn't try to turn it into a meme at the end. This is arguably one of the first truly "real" videos Kent has ever posted, which is surprising for someone who is so boastful about how real he is. It's pretty sad to watch, tbh. Seems like he's really hurting.

When Kent was a senior in high school his math teacher gave him the nickname Ken-try, so there's the origin of that. Kent seems to be fond of that math teacher. Kent really struggled with algebra and geometry but he passed the class because he kept on trying and studied twice as hard as others. He's used "Ken-try mode" to motivate himself. Kent gets frustrated by how forgetful he is, and how he often can't follow a consistent train of thought. He says he is very hard on himself, and sometimes feels like he's all alone in this world.

"I never really had a support system in my personal life, that's why I come to YouTube and I speak what's on my mind and I express myself." -Kent, revealing his origin story

Kent thinks about having a woman in his life a LOT, and he doesn't know why. He thinks it may be because he watches a lot of TV, or maybe it's because of society. "Women, women, women. Women, women, women. Beautiful, gorgeous women. Attractive women, too." He also admits to watching pornography. Kent feels society wants him to be a robot.

He seemingly tacitly admits that many of the things he says in his videos are wrong or bad. Kent wants to travel, and he wants to go back to Seattle. He thinks about it all the time. He also fantasizes about being a professional athlete or a movie star, and how his life would be different if he were one. Kent repeatedly emphasizes how frequently he "thinks," "uses his brain," and "brainstorms."

One day Kent wants to take a vacation or a road-trip on his own. Maybe to a different state, or even a different country. He's trying to get his money right, until then.

This one isn't at all fun to watch, but I actually consider it to be one of his best and most important videos. It's probably the most relatable one he's ever uploaded; he's very light on the crazy here. He just seems like a normal, sad guy. It gives a lot of insight into Kent, his inner life, and his background. It reminds us that Kent truly is a good person at heart... He's just terribly misguided and naive when it comes to social interaction.

Kent: if you're reading this, I hope you are doing okay. I know you think that the people on this website are trolls who don't care about you, but I promise that if you continue to make sincere videos like this one, you will win us all over. Everyone struggles with self-doubt. Everyone sometimes feels like they are alone. I, for one, DO want you to succeed. Stay strong, my dude.

Rating: 9/10, every Kent follower should check this out.

This Kent video is him being really real. I see and feel his sadness and want him to feel better.

Kent, we ride your ass when you go off the rails. You're not doing so here and you sound like a troubled young man who is trying to find his way. I hope you find your path.

That is so true this is pure feels and not good ones. The new girl stuff was old Kent way over thinking nothing. But now with this you see he's just that alone feeling, that's awful.

Can you picture having so little that a quick question gives you that much a rush for a twenty minute video? That's like someone who was in solitary confinement.

Kent probably won't read this but, if so, I agree with said before no one's ever wished you ill, it's pointed out when you cock up. But if you really are that alone you have someone closer than you may think to be with and I'm not trying to be funny, you say your a grown man. Hang with Momma Kent. As teens and all we go through a period where we need to grow ourselves and push our parents out, as we mature we see a new "use" and respect for them.

I won't power level too much but I made my parents corner stones of my life. I'm better for it and we all have a lot more fun and happiness. If you are that alone and empty I feel for you, but you have tools so use them. You say you don't care what shallow people think, so if Monday night you and mom made pizza night forget the haters.

At least Kent is aware he's lost on why he wants a woman, first off it's a promise of failing in a relationship in this case. Bassomatic has been there. Second yes, sex sells. Look at Toyota's Jan ads. Why is that hotty selling rolling prozac? You have models selling toilet cleaning chemicals. Sex sells and pretty women are forced down our throats (woe is me). Ad companies don't care or aren't aware of people like Kent whom can be conditioned from this. So yea put down the remote.

Kent is also suffering from the trap I think we all (read projecting) have in that age range. I know I suffered from it myself. You are an adult and do adult things but you aren't there yet. You know you want to be somewhere and aren't. What you want changes and you probably will still deal with this feeling for a while. I won't bullshit you. We all have them, even those people you aspire to be like a sports star.

There are tons of events around the nation for the holiday I hope he attends one just to be around people and have some fun. Shake the sad off, go grill, you like to do that and it's the perfect excuse. Find a fair or something, you got a job and car put yourself into society, it may suck over all (society) but it's a hell of a lot better than being on your own.
 
I really want Kent to grow as a person as well, but here are some things he needs to let go:

1) The "Women have denied me a life" crap. Everyone wants love, but be thankful you're alive. Not many people have that luxury. Furthermore, stop talking about women as if they're your enemy. How can you ever manage to relate to a woman if you're already expecting the worse?

2) The idea that women are on thin ice if they don't keep a mans feelings intact. I really hate that way of thinking because it limits women to a point where they have to behave a certain way for their own good. Fuck that. Kent began to mention this more and more since returning, and we already know where it derives from. Surrounding himself with better people is a must as long as he keeps his jealousy in check.

3) Let go of this whole idea of being the best at rejection. All it does is draw your typical morons to sit around and form a discussion of why women suck so much. It's basically prolonging your misery with a bunch of other inept men. Kent should be trying to separate himself from the pack, not continuing to be like them.

I have a strong suspicion that when Kent is usually feeling good, it's because he's usually not engaging with those other guys in the same predicament as him. However, once he browses Youtube and watches a few videos about women and rejection, he reverts right back into his depressed state. It's almost like night and day at times.

You'll never be able to live a healthy life as long as you allow your past to hold you down. I wish Kent would just understand that and focus on the now instead of dwelling on things that he no longer has control of. His past doesn't need to define the rest of his life. He needs to understand this.

Well, he met a woman who works at the store next to his. Basically, he showed her where the garbage station was and introduced himself to her and is now talking about trying to get her number to get to know her more. Since she doesn't work at the same store as he does, it could work out but I do wonder if he is reading more into a simple convo of 'where's the trash chute'.

Damnit Kent! You're backsliding again! Look, you have more central issues than what hats or shirts you wear or your job or your car. You are going back to arguing about superficial issues rather than the mental and emotional issues you have that are preventing you from getting friends or dates.

He keeps mentioning that he's a grown man, perhaps in calendar age but not in terms of mental or emotional awareness. That's why people keep treating you like a child, Kent! This will continue to happen because you haven't matured.

The thing that gets me about Kent is this: he says he won't change himself to get women to like him. Good. That's totally understandable. But on the other hand, you can't expect women to change their preferences if they're not attracted to you, either. A girl not finding you attractive isn't against the law, a girl not being upfront about having a bf or not isn't against the law, a girl giving you a shitty attitude isn't against the law. It might be annoying, but it's within her right.

It makes me laugh, though. Women must like you for you, but your own preferences don't even adhere to this way of thinking. I've heard Kent and many other guys talk about certain women they find unattractive, but if this is directed towards them she's a "shallow bitch" who can't see beyond looks. It's a ridiculous double standard. If you can judge girls by looks, guess what? They can do the same to you. Attraction isn't a one-way street, nor should it be.

I'll never understand how certain guys can be so demanding in what they want from the opposite sex when they're unable to reciprocate. I know many nice girls who are lonely and don't get asked out on dates, or much attention from men at all. These are the same girls most of these guys would ignore for the girl that everyone else wants...only for them to later complain that the women they want are chasing the more desirable guys. It's a stupid paradox that keeps this nonsense going on and on and on and on.

Also, once again, Kent needs to learn what a "hater" is. It's very clear by his use of the word that he doesn't know what it means. If people are trying to help you become more appealing to women, that's like the exact opposite of what a hater is supposed to be. He's just not making sense and probably doesn't even realize it. Kent isn't John Cena, so repeating what he says has no relevance to the situation. Part of being a "grown man" also includes understanding that you don't know everything. He's under the impression that he's got it all figured out when he really doesn't.

Another thing that makes me laugh about the supposed "haters" he has is the fact that he's a self-admitted hater. Everyone here can remember the various times he said "I hate guys that are good with women because they have what I want". I'm pretty sure these feelings have never changed, so he's in no position to (incorrectly) label anyone as a hater. Not at all.
 

In this vid, he made specific reference to 'two faced people on youtube' and people who 'never betrayed me or turned their back on me'. And in the last one, he talked about he wasn't fat and mentioned that at least twice. I haven't seen the self congratulatory asspats that he usually gives Big Boss Calvin on his vids or ones back from Calvin to Kent. Hmm....
 
I think Kiwi Farms should do something to make the world a better place -- some girl Kiwis should go clothes shopping with Sophie Labelle (and to the hairdresser), and some guy Kiwis should do the same with Kent. His chances with wimminz would rocket up if he consigned his sports wear to sports events and got something more fashionable for everyday life.

kent doesn't have sports paraphernalia because he wants to wear it to games. he's pretty much only a fan of some oakland teams (and maybe seattle? i forget if his seattle fetish extended that far). he has all that shit because he thinks of himself as a sports hat/jersey (to a lesser extent) collector.

what's missing is the thing in his brain that says "dude just because you collect this stuff doesn't mean you have to wear it around." kind of like how if you collected rare pokemans cards, you probably wouldn't use your collection when you're playing pingamon with your friends. unfortuantely, kent thinks that since his collection identifies him as a unique, interesting individual, he ought to keep wearing his whole getup around because limiting your individuality/personal expression based on fear of laughinggirls.jpg is somehow more pathetic than whatever he's doing now.

Yup! Kent has fundamental issues with his personality which is what's causing him all of these relationship problems. Notice how he doesn't talk about any friends in RL (not folks on social media), he doesn't mention hanging out with cousins or family members of his age cohort, and he has said in videos before that church members who are his age won't hang out with him either during church social functions. If he is unable to get friends and have a decent friendship, how in the hell does he propose to get into a romance? You gotta crawl before you can walk...and right now, Kent is in a crib, waving a rattle around and having a temper tantrum.

Where'd he even get the idea that it is the "smallest"? Its atomic weight is 19, far from being the smallest (which would be Hydrogen).
 
It's also baffling being it's a naturally occurring element. While many things are toxic to us, I find it hard to buy the universe made an element just to slowly dumb humans down.

Israel has nuclear weapons, if they hate the black man so much, why not just drop them on either large US cities or Africa? As we've learned from history if you want someone dead, do it fast and often. There is no way a hidden world power hasn't learned that lesson.

His point about stereotyped out is not even good grounds as it claims women do this to all men. So even a guy who is approved was still subject to the stereotyping. He's as much a victim just different end results.
