"You can have the better resume, better work experience, and the other person will end up getting the job over you. It shows you how unfair life is."
I have literally no idea how he generated any of these thoughts. First of all, he has no work experience since as pointed out, his, "security guard," job seems entirely fabricated. And with that, I can't imagine how Kent could have a particularly good resume. No work experience, seems to be on and off with his education, and there's no volunteer activities or other accomplishments that we're aware of. It would just be one big paper full of fluff. But that's the least of my complaints with Kent this time, because shortly after, he goes even more pants on head retarded. In addition to the prior complaints, believes he's been discriminated by employers over his learning disability, ADD, and autism. You may be well wondering how any employer would be aware of any of this, especially given that Kent says he's never gotten a single interview. Either Kent lists the fact he has ADD and autism as a focal selling point in his resume, or it's such a garbled mess that they manage to somehow infer it from the resume. Fortunately, Kent quickly explains how, and the explanation is more idiotic than any of the dumb theories I had.
"And some of you guys probably wondering, 'oh Kent how are they knowing you are autistic or something,' they can look at your medical records, anybody can, any company can, your medical records, your criminal records, anything about you."
God, no, Kent. The random minimum wage job you're applying for doesn't warrant that company getting your medical records. They may find out about criminal records through hiring a private firm to quickly look things over, but most important criminal complaints and issues tend to be public information anyway. Just look at how much information we've gleamed from various cow's legal situations, such as Chris or Len, to see how. But medical records are an entirely separate ballgame. Lids doesn't have your medical records, Kent. We may have discussed some careers that could, say, warrant a psychological evaluation at some point, which could turn up some stuff. But a minimum wage job isn't going to get that, let alone having Kent's entire medical records handed over. And to top it all off, Kent wasn't ever even officially diagnosed with autism, even if they had access to all of his records pertaining to his psyche, how in the hell would they find out about his undiagnosed autism?
The more he talks about all of his job applications, I get the feeling he's making up most of his applications. I know it can be hard for someone with no work experience to land a job, but not even managing to get a single interview? I really don't buy that. Especially since he says he put in a lot of them. A number of jobs don't even require a resume, it's just filling in some basic information and a brief situational quiz. I wouldn't be surprised if Kent has only recently applied to Lids, wanted to whine about employers being one of the other things that rejects him in life, and just made up all the other supposed applications he sent in in order to help defend his point, since even he probably realized that he didn't have much of a leg to stand on with only one application.
