According to the NY Daily News he got taken in by the police for his threats against Trump voters but it was a psychiatric evaluation rather than an arrest. It's amazing, even with everyone riled up after Trump got elected the cops realized he was too stupid to cause any real harm.
He also lost his (adjunct, not tenure track) teaching position at Rutgers but I do not believe he's ever said what the exact reasoning they gave him was beyond vague statements that conservative students complained to the administration. Amazing how cancel culture seems terrible when it's used against you, doesn't it?
