This asshole tweets so much bullshit it's a chore to keep up with him if you go away for couple days. Plus twitter itself is so annoying to screenshot with its floating boxes. Long post here but I'm not covering half of his political ranting, beyonce-fetishizing or stupid crap about TV shows.

I guess this represents him spilling the beans like he threatened to do to Rutgers? Scary. In this next series of tweets Kevin alternates between again threatening Rutgers and bemoaning the fact that they won't help him out:
temp2.jpg
Yeah, I can't see why they wouldn't do anything you say.

temp2_5.jpg
Hmm. Maybe because you keep threatening them with lawsuits, bashing faculty\staff, and saying you're going to reveal embarrassing information about them all? idk!

And below we see Kevin beginning to realize that his idiotic tweeting and actions have basically blown up his ability to get a job:
temp3.jpg
Oh, wait, no. I guess he still doesn't recognize that it wasn't Rutgers that publicly tweeted the intention to run political opponents off the road and mused about shooting a bunch of people, and that doing that was what led to the evaluation (not his classroom antics)

^The gay tatted up ex-Mormon who sperges over a black pop singer has daddy issues, what a shock?

temp5.jpg

^"Why won't a reputable institution hire me back to teach?"

temp6.jpg

^So much value, lost.

temp7.jpg
^I love it. Here we have Kevin sandwiching hate for a woman between two other tweets attacking Mike Pence for supposedly hating women.

temp8.jpg
^ God, imagine having to read an academic paper or thesis written by this blowhard.

temp9.jpg
^Will you enjoy homelessness?

temp10.jpg
^blah blah white liberal douche telling us all we need to listen to black women... shit's played out

temp11.jpg
^Yep, worked great this election. Keep at it.

^Asks legal questions on twitter instead of to a lawyer, still pretends that he's a threat to Rutgers or anyone else.

Further, snopes.com reports the following quote from the NYPD: "We were informed by Rutgers PD that he made threats to kill white people. He was taken to Bellevue. He was not arrested. He was not restrained in any way."

If this is correct the situation was, as I guessed, a 'voluntary' action in that he agreed to go to the exam rather than being forced. If that is correct he's going to find that he has no one he can hang this on except himself, liability-wise.

Edit: I just noticed a couple of the early ones were already posted. I spent too much time fiddling to get them here to go through and delete em now. *sigh*

He also doesn't get that the obvious question raised by the "psychiatric evaluation" is "is this guy a fucking nutjob I shouldn't hire?"

And not having got that, he doesn't get that his string of mentally ill tweets are essentially a big fat YES to that question.

The answer to his question is he's definitely suffered harm to his reputation and employability and so on that costs him money.

Too bad for him that courts don't let you sue yourself for your own stupidity, though.

Kevvie boy has some old dirt to air against Rutgers:

First, he never knew the girl, yet he somehow knows Rutgers was at fault?
And what could the Women and Gender Studies Department do anything except to refer her out? They're not qualified clinical psychologists or psychiatrists -- in fact they're not qualified anything.

And Kevvie has a sob story of his own:

So where were you when she was struggling? why didn't you help her then?

She was probably a white girl...

If you know multiple people who killed themselves, you might be the issue.

I'm separating his rants into subject matter now because otherwise it's too unreadable

You weren't detained, which means you went voluntarily because you, the guy with "BRAVE" tattooed on his chest, were intimidated by the big bad policeman. Go ahead, see what a lawyer can do for you about that.

...and still fails to understand that he didn't receive a visit from the five-oh because he annoyed someone in class, he got the vis-it because he publicly threatened to kill people.

He's also been babbling about the Jenner\pepsi stuff but I think my time would better be spent taking a shit than archiving more of his 'wokeness' right now.

I'd say he's right on the detained part. If you only "voluntarily" remain in custody because otherwise you'll be arrested, you've been detained. The mental health authorities and the police were acting entirely properly, of course, in detaining a lunatic who had publicly threatened mayhem, so any bullshit lawsuit he files will go nowhere.

Maybe. Of course we only have his word that such a 'non-option' was offered. The NYPD stated that he "wasn't detained.' Who do I believe? Eh, to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Kevin was telling that part accurately- it does sound like something an officer would say to try and avoid the headache and paperwork of a 'forced' eval. And if so I can definitely see a court finding that a 'voluntary' psych evaluation wasn't truly 'voluntary' if it was done in lieu of a forced one. But his legal position on that one fact would be a lot stronger if, when told "you can come willingly or be arrested' he would have said 'fuck you, arrest me'. Easier to be a rebel on twitter and in front of students you can fail, though.

But even if he was detained and it was somehow found to be illegal, it still sounds like it was the NYPD and not Rutgers that actually made the decision.

I'm not sure what he is referring to; I'm not up to speed with the hotness hierarchy among male politicians.

Ally.png

If it took you "a few years" to understand why the concept of "ally" is all wrong, you're really slow. It is not because "ally" is "performative" (everything is "performative" in postmodernism anyway), but because it is exploitative.
