If I were a professor and someone came up to me with some brony tard thesis, I'd kick his butt so hard he flies out of university and back into elementary school. :powerlevel:Eh, those are thesis. :autism: Sure, but with the hundreds of thousands going through college and required to come up with supposedly unique thesis, it's not surprising some scrape the bottom of the barrel.
Now if they spin that thesis out after graduation into a class as an adjunct... then they have surpassed Kevvie-boy in sheer :autism:.
But are you in any of the "social sciences"?If I were a professor and someone came up to me with some brony tard thesis, I'd kick his butt so hard he flies out of university and back into elementary school. :powerlevel:
I bet there's even a Ph.D. thesis out there somewhere, possibly by someone non-autistic enough NOT to put it up online.
I mean a professor of it.
I'm currently writing a paper which will appear in a political journal, but I'm from a physics background. (It's about energy policy.) :powerlevel:But are you in any of the "social sciences"?
At least in one case, poorlyDo we know how these deeply insightful brony theses were received?

I don't know how it works over in Czech Republic, but a C-D grade in grad school generally means "You shouldn't even be here".
Thesis review said:As sociologists, we know from the start that things are complicated and that “concepts” do not parade themselves in real life. Taking speech acts always at face value is not analysis, let alone discourse analysis.
It has some academic worth as a case study on severe autism.Alas, I posted too soon. Found the complete info (including the thesis itself) here:

And it looks like despite that reviewer's best efforts, the thesis was successfully defended.
Yup at least the author was studying bronies, not MLP itself. It has some academic worth as a case study on severe autism.
I'm raising the academic lol-cow ante: http://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/15405702.2016.1269908
On-topic: Kevin is mentally deficient and will never step foot near any educational institution ever again without being arrested.
Beyoncé can do something as amazing as #FormationScholars and still get criticized for not being want certain folks want. SHE DOESN'T CARE. she knows people will come for her for every single thing. she does what she knows matters. we shouldn't care about those whining either. everyone demands very specific labor from Beyoncé (which is misogynoir from the get go) & they'll never be satisfied. it's so tired...they do it bc they know they'll get attention mentioning her. media, individual assholes begging her to labor in a way she chooses not to thus doubly using her for their own benefit and an assumption she exists for them. just enjoy what she gives -- it's already phenomenal art. there's an expectation/demand placed on Beyoncé & every tiny move she makes that is unique (from other celebs), unfair, and violent tbh. she's given way more than most any other celeb i can think of & created work that speaks to folks on so many diff levels, and still...ppl ar always "but i didn't see..." or "but where was representation of xyz..." or "it's too black..." or "it's not black enough..." or, etc. Beyoncé has given the world 20 years (and counting) of nuanced, expressly black feminist work/art, charitable projects, and ppl demand more she has no obligation or responsibility to represent every single group of people or every type of person within the group "black women" yet burden always falls on already marginalized cultural producers to represent widely versus going at the most centered stories lack of rep not saying ppl don't go after the status quo - they/we do. but i feel like we need different metrics/rubrics but we use the same guidelines i'm interested in trying to flip the power of universal/specific. show how the very specific stories best tell universal stories actually that we can all learn from a story being told in specificity even if we don't see ourselves immediately represented. art can speak to that. the specific becomes the universal--bc the universal white cis hetero stories tell us way less abt the human condition than specific stoires so Lemonade told a story, 1 we can all learn from. just what we learn might be different depending on who we are. it's still *for* everyone just have to be respectful/responsible abt what we claim to learn. Beyoncé can't represent every kind of black woman, let alone all people. again it's a double burden on Beyoncé from multiple directions. i love critique but would rather find meaning in what's there and why through multiple lenses even, than trash what wasn't present. ...unless of course there are glaring omissions that turn the work itself into something unbelievable. but that's not what comes at Beyoncé.
So are taxpayers supporting this pretentious ninny so he can tweet about this shit?
