I think they probably have someone on it which they have employed and either don't have the heart to fire or legally/politically can't, so they stuck him in a basement with this job.
Concerning Kevin himself, I'm amazed that he has had the gall to call himself a professor without even being able to finish his PhD, I really wonder what his idea for a future for himself might be. I know his notion that he will be succesful in just living on his beyonce stuff, but even he can't be as stupid as believing that right? Hell it has him begging for his birthday. That also brings me to another point, does he still have any actual relationships, with family, friends or whatever, who can either try and talk sense into him or anything, as in none of his social media there is anything showing that he has contact with anyone that does not completely agree with him on everything, which would lead me to believe he cut most everyone out of his life

This is, in a larger sense, one of my pet peeves. Someone brings something up and then dismisses it. The usual is "It's not my job to educate you!" but here Kevin does "no thanks. don't need to." so that they can deflect actually having to provide an argument. I mean I'm sure I'd be dumber for reading whatever evidence they could put forth, but I could make the assertion that Kevin Allred is a dangerous sleeper agent planned by the KGB before the fall of the Soviet Union. Do I care to explain my reasoning? No thanks. I don't need to. It's pretty clear!

You do realize the fact that you think you need a degree or actual knowledge of a field to be capable to teach is a complete neoliberal and racist idea. Everyone has the knowledge in them and only through the power of beyonce does this knowledge become available to the world, so everyone can do every job. (I imagine Kevin would rationalize it like that)
About the first part, maybe this is because I'm not an American, but isn't it basically the democrats who declined to vote on the spending bill and this only concerned DACA, nothing to do with health care? I think he might have thrown that in since he is no longer employed health care might be one of his biggest worries

He's an adjunct lecturer which means he gets paid less than a fry cook at McDonalds to teach a nonsense class to a bunch of bored seniors looking for an easy elective. Most grad students use positions like these as a way to get their foot in the door but Kevin's main motivation is probably that he can use the title "professor" on social media.
