There’s a weird group of people out there who believe radiation from the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster in 2011 is killing them. While doing research on this community, I stumbled upon somebody so strange I believe he deserves his very own thread.
Let me introduce you to Mr. Kevin Blanch, a loony old man on a crusade to expose Obama for causing his cancer.
But first, a song:
Before his diagnosis, Mr. Blanch was like a lot of other conservative old men on Youtube. He liked to rant about banks, ex-Mormonism, big business, his self-proclaimed financial genius. He lived in Ogden, Utah, and owned a small business that did stucco siding and plastering. Sadly, his life was changed forever on October 13, 2011, when he was diagnosed with Lukemia.
While nobody, even lolcows, deserves to get cancer, Kevin’s response to it wasn’t exactly… rational. The Fukushima nuclear power disaster had happened just seven months earlier, and while it’s unlikely anybody ever be able to prove it, Kevin decided that it was solely responsible for what happened to him. He dove head-first into the deep end, and hasn’t come up for air since.
He now travels around the country with nearly $20,000 he’s raised from the Fukushima-consipiracy community, delivering Fedsmoker-style rants on Youtube and interrupting government panels on nuclear policy. Even though he’s lived more than five years beyond his doctor’s estimate, and appears to be in remission, his crusade continues. He desperately wants the world to know that Obama knew about the dangers posed by Fukushima’s radiation, and (for some reason) lied to the American people about it.
He claims to have a “Freelance PhD” in Socieconomics, and recently wrote a 149-page book you can own for the low low price of $955.

Don’t want to pay for it? Don’t worry, he has a video series where he reads it to you.
Recently, he’s been making trips to Washington DC, taking part in marches with mask-wearing weens in an ADF-style beret. Up until a few years ago, he also ran a radio show called "Post Ignorance", but it appears to be defunct now (even though he's still advertising it for some reason).
You can find his posting his crazy ramblings mainly on Youtube and Facebook. There’s a lot to go through here so I’ll be digging into this guy for a while.

This one is a mix between an autistic rant about eugenics, and a rap that mixes Nirvana with Michel Jackson.
“Don’t take it personally, but you’re all scum”
You're totally not crazy.
