My thoughts:

- Penny, the person speaking, was somebody I was 90% sure was a man, with the 10% being that perhaps they're an incredibly ugly woman. This confirms 100% they're just a man as their "feminine voice" sounds like a man with a hoarse throat.

- This eight minute clip feels like an hour as it's incredibly unstructured. It's clear zero practice went into this beyond him planning a beginning and end point and an overall "theme" and deciding to just wing it.

- Every fifth word is an "um." I feel like I'm watching a high school student who came into his first classroom presentation unprepared.

- His "girlfriend" is holding the camera. He audibly laughs a few times, demonstrating that by sound alone he is unquestionably male as well (although there wasn't much doubt to that).

- Continuing the unprofessionalism, the camera is held by hand instead of, say, a $25 stand so that it doesn't shake and the audio doesn't sound like I'm getting groped by manhands.

- I literally have no idea what the purpose of this was, as this is just him talking about his experiences on the ranch without plugging it, asking for support, or trying to sell something.

Someone earlier in the thread mentioned that alpacas are sort of like a pyramid scheme. Basically, an alpaca farm can only turn a decent profit if they breed and sell the alpacas-- it's very difficult to break even just selling the fiber, primarily because it takes the alpacas forever to grow it and the material isn't in high-demand domestically.

Here's what comes to my mind. Pain isn't the worst issue. That stitching always looks rather complicated and extensive (I've been foolish enough to click some of those spoilers posted here) plus the whole thing seems to be well known to go badly at way too high a rate to fuck with. So, fragile and risky while it's healing. It's bad enough that it's a part of the body harder to keep clean but it's also a part that moves a lot just from walking making friction (on delicate stitching) a risk. All of this contributing to the risk of damaging the results and/or causing infection.

Tight pants sounds like another, completely unnecessary risk to pile on top of that. It's like he wants to make his crotch rot off. If he was smart he'd put off his long awaited masturbation session as well.

I understand the difference between possession being illegal and decriminalized, hence my verbiage. Decriminalization makes it way more accessible and it's easy to dodge a charge of "selling". In Washington DC, weed is decriminalized but not legal, so you cant buy it. You can however, buy a 60$ tshirt or coffee cup that comes with a "free gift". It's just more accessible than most places.

After doing some digging on who this Dr. Hyer was I found out that apparently Colorado is a trans surgery capital in the US, with Denver Health holding 30 to 15% of all vaginoplasty surgeons in America.

Now, apparently, Jennifer Hyer does both FTM and MTF surgeries and really does seem to believe in the cause, and if my research tells me anything i.e a reddit thread (post-GRS AMA w/Hyer / 7week postop update), she's a former student of Marci Bowers, whom you may know as Jazz Jenning's surgeon.
