Colorado is an interesting case. The vast majority of the state is country as fuck and about as white as you can get BUT it's a lot of rich white, not poor white like the south. Denver is a very strange place, ten years ago it was a small city absolutely full of crazy homeless people shooting drugs on the streets, projects (subsidized housing for typically poor black folk) and mexican ghettos interspersed throughout the city. Recently though, especially after the legalization of weed, they have managed to kick out almost all the homeless people, moved all the projects out of the city and put them over by the airport and heavily sanitized the mexican ghettos. I used to live in a pretty low income but quiet neighborhood just north of coors stadium and well what do ya know, they have to tear down this entire neighborhood to fix the I-70. I'm sure that in no time at all it will be rebuilt with shitty condos as far as the eye can see and when you look into who owns them.....well let's just say they're going to have names like Xi and Chong.
