Truthfully? I liked Sense8 until they had to replace actors because they weren't comfortable with the amount of extremely explicit orgy scenes written into the script.

Of course, I also watched it back when I thought that I was an ally because I was still allowed to separate sex and gender - so who knows what current MissAnthropist would think?

I love how these people are the same ones arguing that the rest of us have a poor understanding of biology. They legitimately think that it's as simple as insert uterus, give birth. As if the hormonal fluctuations aren't critical. As if there's not absolutely zero room in the abdominal cavity of men to carry a child. As if the male lower back was designed to deal with the weight of pregnancy. As if the uterus is the only organ effected by pregnancy.

If a transwoman wanted to give birth, he'd have to be hooked up to monitors and have hormone checks at all times. It would be an utter waste of medical resources when there are already plenty of us reproduction husks to give birth as is.

Why every few months he gets back on this uterus transplant nonsense? A man does not have the body or bone structure to physically carry a child. It would either paralyze them or kill them to bring a child to term in their bodies.

Edit because double posting is gay: men don't have the bone structure, the internal space between their organs, the hormonal and vascular system to even facilitate the female reproductive system. The organ would be rejected and the subject killed, just like Einar "Lili Elbe" Wegener, the Danish "Girl". This whole "uterus transplants for trannies" is an incredibly retarded take even more detached from reality than the rest of the TRA dogmas like "trans people were treated like gods and/or royalty" or "trans women are women".

It'd unironically be easier to either find a way to sustain a uterus outside a human body or develop synthetic womb birthing tanks. Such an invention, depending on resource usage and risk to the foetus, might actually be a boon just in terms of helping families that can't have children and ending the (largely) unethical practice of surrogacy.

However Kevin doesn't want a child, he wants to be totally hecking bred and (fail to) coom to the concept of being pregnant. The child is incidental to the paraphilia. Therefore he focuses on uterus transplants. Even if there was some way to cram a uterus inside a male and bring a child to term, the risk of complications and miscarriage (and cost) would be higher in trans women than cis women, so - given there'd be an incredibly limited supply of uterus donors - trans women would be bottom of the list. Unless you can buy your way up the donor list in the states, in which case yeah maybe some rich trans women could get them, but Kevin is not rich.

One solace is that this wouldn't be covered by the NHS on TERF Island, as plenty of women are infertile and even women who are just having difficulties conceiving have very limited access to IVF, so much like how the majority of the NHS refuses FFS as not showing any actual difference with outcome and purely being a vanity thing, they'd absolutely be legally bound to deny a uterus transplant.
