MSM was an acronym in the 90s, Men who have sex with Men.
They had a bit of a debate as to whether that should include Transwomen as it was mostly a term used by sexual health professionals.

The perfectly reasonable logic was that most “Transwomen” then had not had surgery so obviously if they were engaging in sex with men, then it was identical to MSM.

I'm completely convinced Kevin has face blindness now. But the real question is what is he seeing? Given that he can only notice facial hair and not, say, a massive and chiseled jawline with a powerful brow, Kevin may only be able to identify a person by their hair. It would explain why when he sees what is unquestionably a guy with medium-length hair, he perceives it as the peak of femininity.

It may even be a step further, like with that gremlin he follows who sticks his lips into vacuum cleaners. The man hasn't a single strand of hair on his empty head, but lacks facial hair and that's all Kevin needs to see a woman, same for himself. In that regard, his face blindness may be so severe that he can only tell the difference between the sexes by the presence of facial hair.
