There's small Lego sets too. the last big ticket mainline transformers release was Liokaiser at I think 350$, which was last year, and there's at least one commander and one titan release a year which are 100$ & 200$(sometimes 150$ if they're smaller) respectively.
this isnt accounting for imports like Missing Link or Masterpiece which don't have consistent pricing since they don't abide by any retail price points, but from what I've seen he basically buys exclusively CHUG which is the fandom term for the current mainline retail stuff.
