I looked up the property on Zillow and it said it was only 36 acres. Does the tranch have more land then that? Cause if not how the fuck are they supporting 300 alpacas? Alpacas are slightly worse then sheep when it comes to head per acre, and in rough country you can usually only run 4-5 per acre. If they only have the the 36 acres then the maximum herd size should be kept at about 120 and even then how much are they paying for feed?? If you want healthy animals you need to feed a mix of bagged feed, hay, along with keeping the mineral blocks out there.
Other questions are vaccinations, are they doing any herd management and prevention?
