Do some of your animals need veterinarian attention? Well good luck with that, because you just called your local livestock doc and his family bigots and fascists. Need feed for your pets and livestock. Well you're going to have to search around or have it delivered, because the local country store and ranchers won't be selling to you. Is your septic system backed up and shit is flooding out into your yard? I found some places online that are trying to make it happen. Seems like there was a coordinated push for it in 2015 (it's low in cholesterol!). Researsh suggests it's not even common to get in Peru, unless you're staying with a family that raises their own.

The only thing I can find about the taste is that it is 'beef-like' or like venison, but it's not clear whether that goes for adult animals or young ones. Mature sheep has a distinct by-taste that is not popular in the western world; all sheep we eat is about 6 months old.

I'm not a farmer but I'm very close to a family of farmers. Alpacas are usually only kept for their wool. In some cases (at least with farms local in my area), they are also open to the public and charge a (small) fee for parents to bring their kids to the farm and interact with the animals. I think The Tranch would make some bank if they became a makeshift alpaca petting zoo.

Oh, people would come there but not for the alpacas. "Look, children, this is what happens if you sit inside all day playing video games, run away every time a girl wants to talk to you and only ever finish a study in underwater basket weaving." It would have more effect than any other threat.

I thought this too but I don't think he'd pass up an opportunity to warp some young impressionable minds. He wouldn't have to do much, just plant some seeds. The plus side to this is if a parent caught wind things could get spicy. Optimistic all around but fun to think about.

I actually don't doubt he's lost that amount of weight with such small exercise. His body will be working way harder than the average person so will likely be burning more calories. It has diminishing returns quite quickly though and he'll need to be working out progressively harder each week to maintain it. I doubt this will be long-term enough for notable results, but kind of want him to do it. Will be interesting how his brain deals with the increased endorphins exercise gives you.

The first time I went to university and shared an apartment with other random first years the only other dude besides myself was super overweight and literally never pulled his weight around the place. I managed to get him to join the student gym with me and he lost so much weight so quickly and also became way more productive around the apartment. It can really change your outlook on everything around you and he's an infinitely better person for it. He went from microwave meals and staying/eating in his room by himself to getting a part-time job at GAME and finally learning how to cook. He's still a fussy eater but I check in with him now and again and prior to COVID he was always jet-setting over Asia so he's done very well for himself considering we all almost hated him when we were living in a 5 person household.
