Don't even try to make sense of it. It's classic doublethink and Kevie holds the position "there's no bad or invalid reason to transition" because 1: he can't handle any kind of backlash, no matter how mild and doesn't want to get cancelled and 2: he's a coomer and a groomer and I suspect the latter is a form of the former, if that makes sense.
