In the process of writing this post, I was going through my Kevin daily update bookmarks (well, used to be daily). Yes, I bookmark all of the Kevin updates I write in posting order and number them too, we are actually on #72, as of right now.

Well, I added some more from before the hiatus to it, and I realized that I never addressed the whole Kevin revision surgery post thing (which is actually Kevin Daily Update #68!) It was one of the last things I did on the site before I disappeared, and it was months later that I returned and saw that it had not only been highlighted (as I had expected), but FEATURED. Now, I’ve had featured posts before in the Tranch, but I was shocked about that one being featured. Hell, it literally starts out with

The site going down probably helped in terms of the amount of people seeing it, but it was a good thing it did go down, or I wouldn’t have written the post the way I did, which was one big post leading up to, during, and post surgery. I still remember thinking to myself, “today’s Kevin’s revision surgery, how am I gonna document it???” I kept my promise about being there for Kevin’s surgery, but I do feel a tad bit bad about missing his trip to london/TFNation.

Anyways, I cannot thank you all enough for your support back then. It meant a lot, and it helped me write what is hands down the best post I’ve ever written. You got primer, foundation (this requires kevin to leave the house and go to a store and test out the colors for himself), concealer, bronzer/contour, highlighter, blush, color corrector, brow pomade/pens, lash curler, mascara (and primer!), eye primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, lipstick/lipgloss and maybe a lip liner, brushes, loose/pressed powder, setting powder, setting spray, etc.

There’s even plenty of trans makeup youtube tutorials that he can follow, such as this great one by NikkieTutorials (she explains it wonderfully, but it requires base knowledge of makeup). There is absolutely no excuse he has to not play with makeup.

He don’t even need to start out with all that shit I listed. Some primer, foundation, eyeshadow, mascara, and maybe some bronzer or blush to keep his face from looking flat after the foundation will do.
