The algorithm was taking down any photo that was mildly flesh-colored, like sunsets and Post-Its, and a bunch of other stuff where I can't even tell what they were looking for. Even as someone who's kind of glad the porn is no longer everywhere, I noticed how bad the rollout was.

On the other hand, it's disturbing to see how wide a spectrum of people are capable of identifying Tumblr's culture as having been horrifically toxic.

It's on Twitter now, and may be the main thing keeping Twitter from being already dead--except they're fundamentally Nosferatu, in the sense that they suck the lifeblood of the place and don't even have the decency to be sexy enough that they're bringing in more people than they drive off.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I'm happy his ex fiancee got out when she did. Kevin seldom talks about it, but they had some sort of weird BDSM aspect to their relationship where Kevin was the dom.

I think the important thing is who which story came from, and I still am not too sure about that. What I do remember is that Kev's brother was apparently very definitely his brother, and...I don't think either of those stories actually comes from her.

In fact, I don't remember it being firmly established--as in, having it from somebody who didn't have damn good reason to make her out to be an awful person--that an abortion happened, never mind was needed. Even if it was, given Kev's essential incel nature?

I'd not be surprised if it was because the birth control got sabotaged, with Kev not expecting her to abort or be pissed off about it. It was just another way to keep her from GTFOing. (This is, unfortunately, very much a thing done on both sides.) So when she went "WTF?" he put the blame onto the brother, and then either got caught as having lied about it or got caught trying to repeat the trick because second try's the charm amirite? This is why the smart thing to do is just get a restraining order against all of them immediately once you realize one of them is pulling that shit, and if you're in an area where there are applicable criminal charges? Press them. This isn't just for you, the evidence is very strong that people who'll do this once will, if they don't get why it's Not Okay, do it again. BDSM is not what 50 Shades of Grey tried to project. It's a Python tool that I wrote up a now-outdated guide for, awhile back. I'll have to update the guide because while the app works again, it did not properly accept the flag I previously used to export to CSV; I had to call it through another Python script instead of using the command line.

My MEGA account is full due to archiving a schizo's videos in another thread. However, if you take that CSV file that I provided and run the attached script in Python (giving it the name of the CSV file and the name of a subfolder) you can retrieve all the pics yourself over the course of like an hour or two. The script was originally written by a fellow Kiwi though I had to butcher it somewhat in order to add a date and timestamp to each file and to adapt for changes to how some image URLs look on Twitter.
