I am not up on the idiosyncrasies of how people are based on where they are from in Britan. Is he the equivalent of a Russian villager from Siberia or a Ukranian or something?

Birmingham is the second biggest city in the UK.

However, it is a post industrial shit hole.

Smaller cities like Liverpool or Manchester were equally gutted during the 1980's destruction of the UKs manufacturing industry, but because their populations had culture and ambition they were able to pull through it and become thriving world famous metropolises. Birmingham didn't have their advantages.

If Moscow is London and St Petersburg is Liverpool, Birmingham is Volgograd.

Although Volgograd is probably warmer , cleaner and prettier than Birmingham.

Birmingham would be an abandoned city on the Kazakh border made up of nothing but decaying tenements full of krokodil-shooting squatters in tracksuits.

Its not that bad, I've seen plenty of eastern european "stanis" in tracksuits but Ive never seen an abbo there.

Volgograd in 1943 (When it was known by the charming name of Stalingrad) is about on par with modern day Birmingham. Except Birmingham doesn't have a cool burial mound, but rather a large job centre that nobody goes to.
