I don't know much about Zack Sabre Jr. (he became big after I stopped following the indies much), but do wrestlers just not have standards anymore? If I had any kind of name value, and I saw that my opponent is asking marks on reddit for "advice", I'd be calling the promoter and cancelling or demanding a less faggot opponent (if possible since it's Effy's bullshit). Of course if I had any kind of name value this wouldn't even be a thing because I'd never go to a gay show to work a tranny who thinks he's an anime ninja.

And God dammit, Cody. You had some hand in training this freak, did you not slap the mark out of him on day 1?

Crazy thing is, ZSJ is really fucking good. like, former NJPW world champion good. the fact he's doing this shitty ass show really sucks, when he should be aiming for.. idk, TNA or AEW slots?!

He just dropped the IWGP World Championship last month, was one of the wrestlers WWE were angling for back when they held the Cruiserweight Classic in 2016, has been featured prominently on AEW TV, and has had multiple MOTY contenders within the past few years with guys like Bryan Danielson and Okada. The real reason they're having ZSJ face Bandit is that Zack can make anyone look good in the ring and lord knows Bandit will need all the smoke and mirrors working his first match post-hole surgery.

NJPW do have a working relationship with GCW (Alex Zayne and Blake Christiansen working some tours) so it isn't completely out of nowhere. For people who don't follow the indies/Japan this'd be like WWE sending Seth Rollins to face Danhausen or AEW sending Swerve to face that Reginald guy from Cirque De Solei. Just completely below the level ZSJ should be at. Considering he's been off Twitter since the UK indies imploded maybe Effy has something on him.

Not to spoil the Bandit Bashing, but this match is not post hole surgery.

Joey's first comeback match is in a ~week, so unless they get the fastest stinkditch installation & recovery in history...all of their suck is O'Natural, no amhole to blame.

If Kidd spent less time on Xitter and more time training... he would still suck because whatever he does is more appropriate for a theatrical showdown at an anime convention and less for a standard wrestling match.

Bet he also takes the IWC's workrate obsession seriously and attempts moves beyond his true ability. A surefire recipe for blown joints, herniated spinal discs, torn muscles, blunt head trauma, fractures, et cetera.

And of course, he thinks his troonery and his sociopolitcal stances are substitutes for personality. Basic bitch, straight basic bitch.
