What is Kill Team? Well, Kill Team is a skirmish tabletop game that takes place in the Warhammer 40K universe. Unlike its older (and more expensive) brother, Kill Team is considerably faster and more tactical; your team can consist of only 5 models or up to 15 or more depending on your faction. So, in theory, you could start playing with only one box! It wouldn't be the most efficient build, but if you aren't looking to grind tournaments, then don't worry; you can still have fun!.
Another big difference between big 40K and Kill Team is that players take turns activating individual units; you no longer have to wait 30 minutes for your opponent to finish moving his blob of space marines! Do keep in mind, it being a more tactical game means that every miniature is very important; you need everybodyavailable to perform actions like shooting or capturing objectives!
All you need to start playing is
-A team
-Measuring tape
-10 or so dice
-Bunch of junk to use as terrain or ruins
-Rulebook (this one is free, and you can easily get it online or in the KT app)
-A friend willing to play (possibly the hardest part of the list)
With that out of the way, which team do you guys main? Eyeing a new team you want to try out? How much do you hate the obscuring rule? Any funny interactions you had with another player? Does your store have a stereotypical commie Tau player?
