Randi hasn't realized Rapp is completely fucked up and wrong, but that this Crawley idiot is just harming her more and drawing even more attention to her whoring, which is probably not what Rapp wants.

If they had an explicit policy about side jobs she would have been violating it by working at McDonald's.

The idea that Nintendo can't enforce a contract it has every legal right to enforce is completely indefensible even by lunatic nutjob SJW standards.

Crawly doesn't question prostitution is out of sync with Nintendo's image. She, like most of her ilk, think society is broken for not accepting prostitution as a wholesome and empowering profession. Not wanting hookers around our children is sex-shaming.

Although being a sex worker is definitely part of the problem, Geth7 has quite correctly noted that her sideline is illegal. Even if Nintendo didn't have a family friendly culture, it's unlikely they could have kept her as an employee. Who would employ a PR person who was selling drugs, doing 419 scams, or stealing cars as a sideline? The illegality of her sideline would be a major problem for anyone employing a person to be a face of their company.

Er, actually, I think Nintendo would have fired a man if they found out he was a prostitute on the sidelines. They'd probably fire him quicker tbh.
It's not a gender issue, it's "one of our employees is breaking the law and doing depraved acts for money, this is not someone we want as our public representative".

Also, "just because you have evidence of her having sex for money doesn't make her a hooker!"

I've actually lost the screenshot of the policy itself, but from what I remember NoA does allow second jobs, but does the standard corporate guff of "We consider ourselves your primary employer" meaning if they ask you in and it conflicts with whatever second job you hold, tough shit. You don't turn in when asked? It's a disciplinary.

This is where there has to be "approval" for second jobs, in spite of that line, most employers will try and make sensible adjustments as well as noting that you have that second job. You might get some more cash in the short term, but it's basically a mark of "less dependable" on your corporate record because of said second job.

Rapp working a Mcjob, wouldn't actually violate that policy. Both are family friendly corporations and if she informed them, they would most likely have approved the job and carried on.

Rapp didn't inform them of the second job and said job was very illegal in the State of Washington. This is where she violated the policy twice over, one for not telling them that's what she was doing and the other for being something at the polar opposite of their corporate image.

That said, Crawley is a fucking loon for trying to push this petition and shows the kind of disconnect from reality we've come to expect from her on so many levels.
