Watching the episode where Bobby is told he is a reincarnation of a Buddhist guru. I had the funny realization that Kahn is the most materialistic person in the series while Hank is way more chill and contend with what the cosmos gives him.
Also the pyramid scheme episode is just brutal, like holy shit Peggy.

Edit: Also the female Christian reaction for Bobby pretty much leaving Christianity with "well, as long as he says he loves Jesus then it's perfectly fine" is 100% foretelling the downfall of western Christianity.

Or the UMC, at any rate. My mom grew up in the denomination, and she saw the recent schism coming from a mile away.

I always did think that quote Hank said about "why would anyone do drugs when they could just mow a lawn" had a weird Zen like quality to it. There is an interesting philosophy when it comes to learning to take pleasure in seemingly mundane things.

wouldn't it be nice if the young generation could actually afford lawns

"But that's Sanglug's Mirror and he used it."
"ehh Tough Call, but I made it."

Edit :

*watches Hank insist on paying Bill for a haircut*
I KNOW HOW THIS IS GOING TO GO
*Pauses, goes to KIWI FARMS DOT NET*

Kiwis...Hank is going to get a bill for ten thousand dollars isn't he?

Double Edit : OH GOD PEGGY WENT TO A DOCTOR WITH A FOOT FETISH.

NOPE NOPE NOPE...GTFO SHOW.

Not that it's a great episode, but Hank's Bully is a great parable about how designated victims can use their status to... well be bullies.

In a lot of ways it kind of predicts SJW culture.
Much of season 12 did that. Like that episode where Bobby had to run a carnival or Strickland buying carbon credits.

Honestly, it feels like a large swath of Seasons 12 and 13 of KOTH are comprised of two types of episodes.

1. Rejected scripts from Seasons 8-10 that got produced to save costs on writer salaries (Lost in MySpace, probably a few others)

2. An eerily prophetic look at how bad the 2010's would get (Tears of an Inflatable Clown, Lady and Gentrification, Earthy Girls are Easy)
