You know, I'm starting to get the feeling these subreddit fellas are some real jerks.
reddit has been an issue for lolcow antics recently for instance Cyraxx got away with a crime and gave him a win because of reddit new fags fucking with the cow.
The crime done because a redditor showed up at his house agitating him, it was all put into motion by reddit. These fags don't have anything in their lives they can do so they find the weirdo freaks on the internet and think that they can start a crusade against them.
It sure has lately.
It reminds me of the Daniel Larson subreddit where people will actively encourage his paranoid delusions with claims they are following him knowing he's schizophrenic then attempt to justify tormenting a severely mentally ill man by saying "Well he stalks Grace and sexts underaged trolls" like nigga Daniel is a sick fuck and you are tormenting a disabled person. Neither of you are good or moral people.
I think it's very possible. Clint wants to believe that his boy is better than he is and admitting he can't even take care of a lizard would force him to consider how Josh is unable to take care of himself. If he can keep himself deluded enough to believe Josh is able to continue living alone without dying before 40 he doesn't have to step in.
Because of the boogeyman reputation our site has, faggots stay away and the one's who are too dumb for their own good end up being bullied off or eventually have their own thread. The people who stay keep each other in check. It's a series of communal mechanisms that are essential to keeping a sense of normalcy. We might have some psychos here and there but we check them when they cross a line and, if you look just below, we have those lines written down very clearly. They get treated with extreme hostility. We're not easy on Cobies or any other cow, we just have rules and we're not fucking psychopaths.

It's not a possibility I'd outright deny but it just doesn't feel like the case to me. Clint is a very feminine and caring person, and I think he wants to believe Josh can do well for himself and by turning a blind eye to his everyday failures he doesn't have to confront those negative feelings. That's my armchair-psychologist's take anyways.
Honestly my main issue with redditors is just that they're redditors. Redditors need to fucking die. They are an inferior, subhuman group of people and humanity and its chances of survival would greatly increase if every redditor were immediately chucked into a gas chamber, and they were all exterminated, and shoveled into mass graves.
