Rate me according but I’m going to gush a bit on Josh. I don’t even care if this has been mentioned ad nauseam, I’m only 12 minutes into this audio leak, haven’t caught up on the thread, and Josh has gained +10000XP in my eyes. It still doesn’t account for much in his case but, seriously:
1.) He stood up for himself and actually made very good arguments against getting in between his friend’s and his neighbor’s hallway smackdown. Sure, you gotta be loyal to friends, but you also need to give and earn respect from your neighbors; in this case, Alex is obviously going to be trumped.
2.) For maybe the first time ever, this man used good judgement and reasoning to see Warlord crossing into the danger zone and asked him to leave. As drunk as Josh might have been, (outside of Warlord marshing his mellow) he knew that Alex was in down bad and knew it was going to become an issue. Two wonky eyes with all of the foresight in the world; amazing.
3.) HE KEPT HIS TEMPER TO A MINIMUM AND WAS VERY PATIENT CONSIDERING YA KNOW, JOSH. We know him to be somewhat timid, even in the presence of his friends. But he’ll beat the fuck out of an inanimate object should it disobey him even once. Not even PL’ing but I think I’m pretty well-adjusted and am usually a friendly and forgiving person, sober or otherwise; I wouldn’t have asked a friend to vacate my domicile, so nicely, that many times. And yes, Josh was being nice by my standards should I be in such a state of inebriation.
This sorta proves that the dude really does cherish what few friendships he has and despite the filthy soap scum n’ cum layer permanently surrounding him, there’s some truth to his self-proclamation of “being a good person”/“having a good heart.” It’s clear he didn’t want confrontation with Alex, he cared enough to try and stop his friend because he knew Alex was liable to say/do some fuck shit (he did, of course), so I’m give Cobes a “TWU” and early Sunday beer crack for that one.
