i wish someone wouldve mailed him one of those century eggs. i was just thinking about this, theres so many things i always wanted to see his opinion on. i recently watched the vid where he eats those giant water bugs, and its the only time ive ever seen him really look scared.
i totally wish i couldve seen him try more things, i wouldve loved to bake and mail him some kolaches. also, i wouldve killed to see him try and eat a caramel apple (pre teeth disintegration saga)

I've been thinking about this a lot, and it makes me wonder what it means to be a "fan" of Cobra.

As his dad said in the Clinterview, Josh is very funny -- often unintentionally. By appreciating that unintentional humor, were people laughing "at" him rather than "with" him? Can you consider yourself a "fan" if the subject isn't in on the joke?

What's the term for that when someone enjoys an entertainer (for lack of a better word) for reasons other than what that entertainer intends? Do you consider yourself a "fan" of Cobra? Was I a fan?

I believe the nomenclature is "atrocity tourism."

Cobra really is a long slow burn unless you're just going through one of the highlight clip channels. I think one of the longest recent streams that I sat through that wasn't a clip- was when he decided to make the cat food Big Mac and it was well worth the wait. I don't remember the last time that I had laughed that fucking hard.

The fact that you feel anything beyond having another dormant channel shows that there's at least something that you enjoyed about Cobra.

Even if he was boring and did nothing but sit around and get shit faced most the time after moving into the trailer, he was still that bedrock, that foundation that many of us had followed through trials and tribulations for the last several years if not decades. The fact that he's fucking gone kicked people's thoughts of mortality more than they probably had thought they would have.

I miss my boglim.

Gonna be a long day today, and a rough evening. Do we know if it will be on YouTube or Facebook? Or both? I never use FB so fingers crossed it's YouTube. I really, really don't want to miss it.
