I’m new to the Cobraverse and I don’t recall how solid the knowledge is concerning the diagnoses talked about here. I want to say Clint confirmed some and disconfirmed others, but I have no confidence that I’m remembering it correctly.
It is a really hard epistemic judgment to make when trying to discern between something that might be comorbid with a pervasive neurodevelopmental disorder like ASD/FASD or it simply being a symptom of said disorder. We are essentially talking about individuals whose central nervous system is malfunctioning at the physical and chemical levels, which is probably going to impact every facet of cognition.
Regardless of speculative pathology, the Dark Lord obviously operates at a diminished capacity. I can’t eyeball intelligence quotients, but just casually watching him in action demonstrates that his adaptive functioning would easily meet the criteria for a borderline intellectual disability: the social skills, the practical struggles in hygiene, the management of money, his struggling with conceptual tasks involving memory and and the application of basic reasoning. None of it paints a pretty picture.
What really fogs the issue is that Gothic bad boy lifestyle. Social isolation and substance abuse will erode your intellectual functioning, Cobes not working or being a regular part of some kind of physical community is doing more to harm his quality of life than anything else outside the alcohol. If your mind is not being challenged on a consistent basis, it will undergo unwelcome changes just like your body will without exercise.

How would you compare him to Warlord? I feel like the only difference between the two is that Warlorld is better socialized. Agree completely about the persona/lifestyle. If cobes somehow ended up a warehouse worker who listened to ozzy and went to a bowling league every Tuesday it would be way harder to pin down how retarded he is.

I find it weird how people get angry at him as if he should act more like a normal person.
The man received a letter from "Donald Trump" thanking him for using his magic to defeat ISIS, and he wasn't even surprised by it. He was proud of it and did not occur to him for a moment that it was far more likely to be from a troll than Donald Trump. He shared it with people, saying with complete sincerity, "See, I told you my magic works." Yet, you treat him as if he should be able to make decisions like a normal person.
I know what is wrong with him. My question is, what is wrong with YOU? Why do YOU get angry at a disabled man for being disabled? Are YOU autistic too? Are YOU on drugs? Are YOU on a dry spell?
I'm not defending him, I'm asking the people who are hateful toward him: Why? Laugh at him, send him glitter bombs, whatever. But reading the anger and hate in some of these posts...some of y'all would do well to examine yourselves. This shit is supposed to be about laughing and having fun, otherwise it's psychotic.

I really suspect that he is about 75-80 IQ wise, he's higher functioning than Chris and a little more grounded but not by much but at that level every point matters, aside from the damage Drinking, Drugs, Paint fumes and any natural disability with his motor function he may have he has mental health issues besides Autism and is socially isolated and stunted, not as bad as others but with autism social conditioning (no better term for it) is very much a use it or lose it kind of deal - He had functioned far better in the past when he was forced out as a teen to places like that social dance he's mentioned and when he was working his social and executive functioning skills took a nose dive once he was allowed to sit at home all day doing nothing, but you could see the slide as they cut his hours.
The thing is josh has nothing - he has no Hobbys or real skill's we are aware of to occupy his days so he's filling that time with booze and other distractions, I know he's really interested in tobacco he could have gamed that into a small profitable neice by doing Pipe, Pipe Tobacco, Cigar and Cigarette reviews (they are a thing), but he lacks the vocabulary to do it but it's not that hard to learn there are plenty of resources for it, but he's never explored it other than some base facts and done has called drink flavours by colour's before etc.
He plays guitar but has stalled at a level of a semi competent beginner - I'm not knocking him for that, I couldn't carry a tune if you gave me a bucket and the only time I tried playing a instrument in school the teacher threatened to cut my fingers off if I ever attempted to play again, but he doesn't want to seem to want to play any more.
I've talked up thread about his lathe and other stuff and I do think he'd like to do something practical with his life but he's now to drink addled to really try it.
That's prety much it, Floorlord is more social and he is forced to be so as he hasn't got a safety net like josh, Josh at the end of the day knows everything will be "Alright" he wont be homeless as Clint controls the money to pay for his flat, his electricity, gas, broadband and also gives him food and then any money left over is his, he will get donations and if he fall's short Clint will step in (I don't blame him for that, I wouldn't see my kid homeless or hungry).
That Helmets too small for him and could cause more of a problem if he got into an accident. I like cycling myself and you can oddly enough get non stupid looking helmets these days for marginally more than normal ones or the BMX style like he has.
He's looking puffyer than normal because of Alcoholic Fluid retention, it's what happens shortly before a major medical indecent caused by alcohol - normally kidney function. His teeth are a horror show I saw one where his left hand incisor has a front cavity forming, that's rare as those are the most used teeth so sorta get a "Cleaning" every time you use them they also have the most enamel on them to ward off things like that.
He could also have Alcoholic Hepatitis, lately he's not been eating much and he's been less hunched forward in his videos and going with looser fitting cloathing that could indicate tenderness.

I'm not hateful towards Josh, I pity him I see a lot of my younger self in Josh and view him as a what could have been if I didn't unfuck myself in my teens, I just developed a substance abuse problem from trying to be someone I wasn't and doing things I didn't want to do because I was good at them even though it killed me inside and now I am doing much better.
It's stupid to hate Josh, anyone who hates him needs to take a really good long hard look at themselves and find what is causing that revulsion in the first place, I know someone on a reddit thread say they hate him because despite doing nothing he has a better social and financial safety net than them, I know another poster said Because he can just sit on his ass all day and drink, etc.
I dislike a lot of what he says, in part because I feel he's being disingenuous to his own belief system, I also think a lot of what he says is remarkably stupid, and how he lives his life is just depressing and think he could do so much more with his life with minor tweaks to point him in the right direction (no I'm not saying a jordan peterson thing like make your bed or whatever other bollocks he's pushing today) but some small and escalating changes would have a real impact on his quality of life, I can't force him to do them am just a guy on the internet, other people can't force him to do that because they are just another voice in a sea of voices, Clint can't do it as josh will fight him and slide back as soon as the heats off, Josh has to do it on his own he has to realise that he needs to make a change for himself and want to keep doing it, and he's not there yet mentally.
