I don’t blame Cobes for this because I don’t think he has any ill intent towards the animal. He’s likely going in with the best intentions. In an ideal world he’d have a wrangler explaining why keeping a lizard isn’t the best idea and he’d either he talked out of it or the situation would at least be monitored.

The only positive I can think of is if people send things for the lizard rather than sending Cobes tinned snails and cigars.

You’re too optimistic. Cobes is incapable of caring for anyone or anything. Not because of the autism but because he’s… Cobes.

reading that first sentence reminds me of how josh always uses “but i didn’t mean too” as a form of blame deflection

“ms. green was at the end of her life span, so i thought i’d take her out on her last days”

after being a mostly active fan for about a year and a half, i wouldn’t be surprised if that lizard didn’t make it past 2 weeks. josh is an actual retard and i don’t even think retards are as slow as him

Fat chance he'll ever take it. First he'd have to recognize something is wrong with the lizard, and there is a precisely 0% chance he's doing the proper research to know what to look for. On top of that, exotic vets aren't cheap. They can easily run you ~$70 baseline, even receiving cheap medicine will breach $100. There's no way he could scrape that together and not impulsively spend it on doordash.
