I've been tailing Jord for only a few years now and I can handle most things he does. However, when he gets obscene describing sexual acts bothers the fuck out of me. Bit prudish on my part, I admit, however the behavior is undeniably uncomfortable and perverse. He's like the regarded mutant offspring of the Diceman and Marquis de Sade. I'm talking about his insistence on describing sexual acts in the most profanely graphic ways possible. You can't just go down on her. I appreciate the Josh lore. Clearly he has something. Which is fine, people can’t help having certain issues. But, I will say the weed combined with whatever meds he does take combined with the booze is going to cause issues. PL. but relevant…my sis is an alcoholic also on concerta and ssris plus weed and complains she doesn’t feel good on them. She, like Josh doesn’t give a crap and that’s fine, but they both don’t make the connection that maybe they’re just ruining themselves with all of these things combined. This isn’t a little weed and a little booze, Josh and my sis both do it in excess.

It's also spraypaint fumes, something well known he's been highly exposed to but always somehow gets overlooked when people get into the weeds of "What's wrong with him/what's happened to him" discussion.

Get a look at the old Cobra Den. Notice how the workbench filled with spraypaint cans that gives it the appearance of a closed off carport or garage ?

That was an apartment. His bed is juuuust to the right, close enough to where when he entertained company and they sat on it, most of their bodies were visible in frame on the webcam. Cobes spent years spraypainting indoors in that room, no mask, no ventilation, and allowing the aerosol remnants to fly into the air and settle wherever it landed. This guy needs to seriously stop drinking, he's a danger to everyone around him. He needs to quit drinking and get his life in order, including getting a job. A bit harsh but I don't understand his behaviour. I would add as he has the attitude that his parents will just buy him anything he wants, that he has a great and loving family, and that his girlfriend is just a friend he is trying to take advantage of.

My take: He is not well. He needs help. What is happening in his life is not normal behaviour and he is causing a lot of problems for himself and others. He is having a breakdown and needs help now.

I really did almost die though and I don't remember much from the last 3 months of my alcoholism but my life was pretty much exactly like cobras. I actually got so used to falling over like that I would not even get angry about it - I'd just lay on the floor until I felt like getting up...

Sober almost 5 years now but yeah... Cobra makes me very thankful to be sober. I really hope he gets help :/

It's not about the excitement of waking up to alcohol the next day. When you are drinking like he is you go into serious withdrawals around the time you wake up. Hell when it gets really bad you wake up in the middle of the night shaking and can only get to sleep after a few mouth-fulls of hard liquor.

I don't think Cobes has gotten to that point but he is for sure waking up with a serious hangover every single day. A hangover bad enough can only be cured with more booze.

It's an archer quote but it's funny and for sure fitting - A non alcoholic asks: "How are you still drinking after last night?" - An alcoholic answers: "How are you not?"
