I thought the consensus was it was due to him being catfished by a troll. The troll eventually messaged them saying they were 14, and josh cut all contact but still got a lot of shit about it.

Everyone is a retard when they’re in their teens or even early 20’s. The problem is that Josh never stopped being a retard. And it becomes less and less acceptable the older you get. People can excuse your stupidity and cringe behavior when you’re 20 but not when you’re 30.
