I've had the misfortune of having a abcess caused by a broken tooth and it was AGONY, you can't talk, can't chew, can't drink anything unless it's body temp and you need to use a straw to try and stop it from going near the sensitive area - and I was on a prescription pain killer for it - I'd honestly call it one of the worst experiences of my life.

The level of agony and discomfort he's in has to be insane with his teeth like that.

Now excuse me I'm off to brush my teeth for the second time this morning.

I know i just went on a tangent about his teeth but seeing them up close again is just horrifying.

I think I "get" him saying he doesnt care that his teeth are digusting. I really do. Its part of his bad boy persona. His rebellious nature. His middle finger to the common standards of beauty.

But does he not realize he is going to loose all of his teeth, and the boneloss in his jaw from periodontal disease will leave him unable to get replacement teeth??? How will he eat his dank food with no teeth? Will we be looking forward to blended food+booze+drink combos soon?

At this point, him losing his teeth is a "best case scenario", his mouth could kill him at this point if it keeps deterioriating.

I know Clint thinks Josh is an adult and doesn't need his hands held, which he isn't wrong, but only if Josh was a normal person. I really think he just wanted to get him off his hair as soon as he turned 18, but still cares enough to be there and help with his needs at a minimum. When I hear or read his AMA on Reddit, he really sounded like he was done with Josh for the most part. The sad part is, Clint is probably the few people Josh MIGHT listen to. I get he is incredibly stubborn, but that CHANCE he would listen could make a difference.

I hope Cobes listens to homedad when the dentist trip comes. Part of me thinks Cobes won't care about any complications created by his lifestyle regardless.

Ive always had my foot in the "Clint did what he could as a dad for cobes" camp but right now he's a total failure of a dad. You dont stop being a parent because your kid survived to 18, especially if your son is a retard.
I get Clint wanting the boy to have a life that wasnt dictated by anyone else, but why the fuck is he letting his son that he oh so loves kill himself slowly?

His extreme opposition to anyone telling him what to do or even just giving advice, makes me question if even Clint could save his fucked up mouth.

The stupidest (and most effective) trolling is literally giving him some kinda instruction.

Clint would be quoted about how his boy 'always went his own way' and 'went by the beat of his own drum'. He would also probably use it as an excuse to dress like a women again

At this point getting his teeth yanked might be the best thing for him. I think it's obvious to everyone that he'll never brush his teeth without someone showing up every day and forcing him to do it and even then he might just outright refuse. Even if Clint worked something out to have a caretaker drop by for an hour a day just to make him do basic stuff like that I think eventually Cobes would just refuse to let them in when he was fed up enough. At this point I think those chompers are a bigger threat to his life than the smoking and maybe the alcohol.

That being said dentures wouldn't be that much better because they'll never get cleaned, but at least they can be replaced from time to time. I'll admit though, I also want him to get them because the inevitable cobra craft teeth that he'll make. Snake fang dentures toobs. TMDWU

Probably because if Clint really intervened, it may be Cobes' last straw when it comes to dealing with him.
