It's an incredibly nihilistic view that he's allowing it to happen, I'm an optometrist not a pessimist. That said, there really aren't many good explanations other than that and clint just being totally ignorant of josh's life. I can see him totally glossing over jorps videos or outright ignoring them and just taking cobes' word for how he's doing.

There's no way he'd be able to get section 8 in the timespan between being kicked from the OG den and moving into the new boglim cave at the Conquistador Apartments. He's even said himself his SSI doesnt entirely cover his rent. He's paying around 800 dollaree doos for his shithole right now.

800ish is about average for an apartment in Casper, I think your definition is kinda fucked, especially when its a technical term for income thresholds for certain places.

Here are all the low income housing options in Casper, Conquistador isnt on it

We should all marvel at Clints generosity to take care of Cobes' utilities and fill the gap in his rent that SSI doesnt cover because there's no way he's able to cover it himself when he only sells juans once in a blue moon now and relies on dollar donations that he immediatly spends on booze.
 
Sunday nights stream was pretty crazy. It's very clear that Angie and Walt feel bad for Josh and want to treat him with kid gloves.

Also, Is there any truth that Josh gets drugs from Walt and Angie that always seems to be regurgitated as fact? I had asked on the subreddit a while back but got down voted to hell.

There's 0 proof, the obvious reason cobes goes to their trailer is to stalk LN, not sure why reddit needs to muddy the waters

It's not unheard of parents taking care of retarded children well into their 40s or until mom and pop are dead. Perhaps clints in denial in how bad the situation is.

I'm amazed he hasn't been put into a group home. I know he would be able to stay because he refuses to follow any rules, but he seriously shouldn't be living alone.

My neighbor had a retarded son. He would basically rent the kid out as cheap labor to the neighbors. Cut grass (he fucked up sprinkler systems), worked in the local sewage treatment plant, and now the recycling plant. The retarded guy is now in his late 30s while his parents are creeping up on 70. They are just hoping that the state takes over but even that will be hell on the slow guy.

I think Cobes is doing Clint a favor trying to off himself with booze and shitty living

I haven't thought about this until now but did Clint ever bother to teach Cobes how to drive? Didn't he have a really fucked up commute to Wendy's? Like hours or some shit. It floors me that he never thought to learn when he was still functional by boglim standards. With Chris it's more a matter of him growing up in rural Virginia before things like doordash.

Hell yes he can get lower. This will continue until Copes loses his channel and and faces an extended period of time where he cannot get his boozey fix. Either that or eviction saga 2.0. As long as the piggies keep him in free and easy booze he'll continue.

One of the big advantages Cobes has is that rather than a landlord who is able to keep tabs on him easily because there was only one apartment building, he's now in a complex of probably 50-100 apartments so his antics go unnoticed by the property manager. Additionally the building is newer so his stank isn't as easily escaping his den like the old apartment that had an actual fireplace lol
I do agree that the eviction saga part deux will come though, I dont think Clint will be able to reason with this complex like he did with Cobe's last place to give him cover for long once the problems start manifesting.
