Lolcow KingCobraJFS / Josh Saunders - Amateur musician, YouTube Streamer, wandmaker, and self-proclaimed "sexy goth badboy". Perpetually circling the drain.

I'm watching Boglim Chronicals edit of Josh's birthday stream and one specific paypal donation message caught my eye "Happy birthday Josh another year of you achieving nothing can't wait till the IRS finds out how much money you've made and your SSI gets taken away" Can you imagine getting so angry at a drunk goth retarded man you say this? I'm glad Josh doxed this guy
I mean he isn't wrong. Aren't you supposed to report money from cash apps or websites once you hit a limit? I think PayPal is 500 dollars.

According to Josh Clint handles his taxes for him but obviously he is not a reliable narrator so I have no idea if he's doing that. I'm just saying that hoping someone gets audited by the IRS and taken off the only thing keeping them housed is fucked up. Without SSI Josh is homeless and he could not survive a Casper winter outside.

This kind of stuff is so low priority the IRS won't even bother to even take a look at it no matter how much Cobra's alogs try to start shit.

I think you need to be in the six figures before the IRS even gives a shit. They're not going to roll out a special task force over some pocket change.

It's hit or miss. I've had friends who barely cracked the poverty line get hassled by the IRS for a few years of unpaid back taxes. They just don't have enough people working for them to go after everyone. I doubt Josh/Clint will hear anything for a long time. I don't think Clint is THAT smart in understanding the tax code to cook the books that well though. When Josh was working and first moved into the old apartment, he would care a lot about making not too much to mess with his SSDI. It was a monthly thing there for a while, then he just quit talking about it altogether.

Surprised he hasn't gone on a rant today about trans and mass shootings.

I use to help people who were severely mentally ill/ I.D and the irl/sea always wanted to know any extra income you take in. I mean everything. Hell, even gifted cards over a certain limit has to be reported. If I remember right, 600-1000 (maybe 500) extra a month is when you have to report it (but I could be wrong). If the irs or ssa find out about this shit, he’s is on deep shit. Not trying to sound like an “a-log”, but extra money while on disability is never good. I don’t like cobra, but I really don’t want to see him become homeless over Reddit fags donating him money.

If someone reports it, and they encourage mandatory reporting from people, they’ll investigate your bank account and ask you to explain the excess of money via registered mail. If you don’t do that, they’ll either cut off your SSI or deduct portions of it until the debt is paid.

Expect a “fuk mass shootins” video tomorrow morning or having that be a 5 min segment, followed by “and that’s the thing of it, it’s fucked off YouTube, nobody cares about your junk just don’t shoot up schools.”

I mean I can see where people are coming from when they think this way - but the reality is if he's a really low number he's just not worth going after there are people who they will go after who can give them a better return and have the means or the assets to pay for it unlike Josh who struggles with a unexpected $30 expense without having to result to outright begging.

He'll get an angry letter and a demand to pay but it wont go much more than that unless someone really really hated him and had the power to go after him.
