It's not the internet's responsibility to watch after him or his safety. He sits in his shit apartment wasted every day, his neighbors are probably all doing the same. He doesn't go out of his way to fuck around or lure kids. He doesn't maliciously torture animals. He wallows and rots, and if he plays with a weapon and it goes off it's most likely going to put some holes in walls. Worst case scenario, the bullet tags another junkie or I guess maybe a junkie's kid.i agree, but i have to wonder, where does "swatting" turn into "wellness check"
like if mgourd was waving around a real pistol after slamming a bunch of cat food, would that cross the line? technically, he wouldn't be hurting anyone, nor breaking any laws. would handgun tomfoolery + cat food mukbang +"every chick i liked since the fourth grade...." be enough? genuinely interested to see where the line falls for most people.
personally, i probably wouldn't call the cops even if he had an of-age hostage, but i'm a psychopath
In other words, he's already killing himself and he's surrounded by people doing the same. Unless he's got a loaded gun and he's pointing it at someone, fuck it. Someone visibly at risk? Call 'em. Accidental discharge? Call 'em. Otherwise it's really not our responsibility. It's a cold perspective but it's true.
