Interesting idea but I doubt it unless Clint's the one who get's into the shit for Bog Boys behaviour he won't do anything till he's booted out and only then it's to try an get some of the deposit back, but your idea does have some interesting potabilities.

Moving into the new apartment combined with Covid really accelerate cobies downfall. He’s become a complete shut in hermit. Thats a biggie a lot of people don't realise if they have never been a substance abuser - if your alone and if your alone an can't occupy your time in a meaningful way you can relapse or exacerbate your problem.

During Covid lockdowns I was contacted by family an friends constantly just to check in on me just to make sure I wasn't slipping because one thing they where told (as was I) don't spend time alone as it can really fuck up your sobriety (I wasn't at risk for various reasons but it was nice to know they cared) but I read lots of storys about people relapsing and drinking or using enough to kill themselfs during that period of time, and a lot of storys are comming out now about people who fell into addition during that period of time because of the isolation they might have been social drinkers before hand but turned into full blown alcoholics and are only now getting help.

So even if he was clean and sober the way he is now and as isolated as he is would literally be damaging his brain, increasing risk of depression, decreasing cognitive function, emotional regulation, increase risk of stroke and cardiovascular disease. And then ON TOP of all that he’s taking fat rips of computer duster, guzzling fermented “boglim juice”, eating nothing but fast food, scarfing down sketchy kratom and delta-whatever thc products, regular alcohol consumption, and drinking almost exclusively sugary caffeinated beverages.
