I used to laugh every time Josh said "I rule the trolls sad lives" and other variations of the phrase. It was just an absurd statement. Now, though, I can see Josh was actually right all along- there are redditors sitting there on a Saturday evening/afternoon switching accounts to report the BOY as many times as possible, because anything he says or does pisses them off.
They don't laugh at Josh, they are actively angered by him and his antics, and genuinely want him gone. But he controls their lives so much they can't just stop watching because he's not funny to them anymore.

I don't wanna speculate about their psyches too much but I've noticed that a lot of them talk about being ex-alcoholics or ex-drug addicts themselves, and surely a bunch of them are active addicts too and just not saying so if there's this many ex-addicts in the comments. I think Cobes serves as a stand-in for their own downward spiral and the way they treat him relates to how they feel about the things they've done. Even compared to bloodthirsty armchair reddit psychos like the kind that comment "play stupid games win stupid prizes" in /r/combatfootage, they come off as especially unhinged. I don't think you can sincerely wish Cobra harm the way they do without having some kind of weird personal complex.

I've never bought into the protection order thing at all. The only evidence ever provided for the claim is this very suspect DM exchange. If he actually had a protection order against him Walt and Angie would have told him he can't come over anymore and we would have gotten a massive freakout. I should also note if this is actually real they are doing literally the same shit they accuse Josh of doing. They are harassing this woman.
