This is actually pretty tame as far as the subreddit goes. OP is basically saying "If Josh drinks himself sick enough Clint will be forced to intervene and he may get medical attention for his drinking problem" It's not really them wishing death on him. The simple fact that they think:
“If I accelerate the alcoholism he’ll go to the hospital and it’ll give Jord a Come-To-Jesus moment”
makes me actually think these people are fucking fully mentally retarded. Let’s run the track back on how well shocking Cobra into sobriety has worked:
1. Evicted due to drinking and being a retard with fire and spray paint.
2. Arrested due to being drunk and threatening to kill his father and himself.
3. Removed from family functions because he’s a drunk retard.
4. Removed from bars in some circumstances because he constantly smells like booze or he’s an obnoxious drunk who threatens bartenders with fantasies of stabbing them.
5. Has no friends because he’s constantly drunk and aggressive with them. (Not to say they aren’t aggressive as well.)
6. All his gatekeepers have mostly abandoned him because he gets fucked up on drugs to spite them.
7. Sisters no longer speak to him because he’s a drunk retard.
8. Yearly drunken meltdowns where he hurts himself and completely embarrasses himself.
9. Constantly participating in self harm because he can’t contain his rage and has to often beat the shit out of inanimate objects, showing up with mystery scars on his face and hands.
This guy can’t be helped, if there was any point in time where he could realize he needed to stop it has long since come and passed, LONG passed him by. If you send him booze or duster, the only thing you’re doing is ensuring that when he dies you will end up the same way Janke did.

Josh could be helped. He has no lack of support or family willing to help thr main obstacle for Josh getting help is himself. You can’t help somebody who doesn’t want it. If Josh ever magically decided he wanted to stop drinking and turn his life around and accept outside help then he’d get it. Problem is, he’d never decide that.
I was in the ER the other day and a lady had come in because she collapsed and somebody called 911. She was clearly a homeless junkie. The doctors did a quick check up on her and when looking at her feet one of them was completely wrecked with infection the sock had soaked with blood and puss which then dried its practically fused with it they had to use scissors to cut the sock off. They do that and they put her foot in a soak to clean and disinfect it after a lot of arguing with her she finally agrees. The soak it for 10 minutes and then a nurse comes and starts cleaning and debriding it and wrap it in bandages. They ask her how this might have happened, she doesn’t elaborate, she’s high as shit off heroin. It’s clear it’s an infected injection site.
She asks if she can go now, they tell her she really should stay in the hospital because she has a major infection. She says she doesn’t care, she wants to leave. They tell her the infection needs treatment and to get it she needs to be admitted to the hospital for a few days. She says she doesn’t care, she wants to leave and claims she’d stay in jail before she stayed in a hospital. They try to explain the significance of her affliction, that she could die, that if it’s not already to the point of amputation it’s damn close and she could lose her leg. She says she wants to leave. They try to compromise and get her to stay just one night for a round of antibiotics. She wants to leave. They’re practically begging her to let them help her (for reference this is Canada, she won’t foot the bill, pun intended) she finally agrees that she’ll stay one night but she wants to go for a cigarette first. They're visibly disappointed and hesitant and tell her not to run off and make sure she comes back. She assures them she’s just going for a quick smoke and she’ll be right back after. She leaves. Doesn’t come back.
Some alcoholics or smokers drink and smoke right up to their death. Guy in the ER a few years back missing half his jaw, and had no voice box and a hole in his throat. Just full of throat and mouth cancer but it was the cirrhosis that was doing him in. Not quite to the point of ICU care, he was allowed to stay at home but frequently had to come in for complications, also refused to be admitted. Anyway he’s sitting in a wheelchair covered in a blanket so he doesn’t get cold and to hide the 6 pack of beer he had snuck in. Waiting for the nurse to leave, crack one open, slurp it down as fast as he can, and sit on the can. They caught him when they heard aluminum cans crunching when he moved.
The moral of the story is it doesn’t matter how much somebody clearly needs help, how obvious to everyone around them they need help, or how many people are willing to help and offering help if somebody doesn’t want help. People will send Josh alcohol to accelerate his health issues and alcoholism complications so that he gets hospitalized and people will have to step in only for Josh to reject their help and that’ll be that. I have hope that somehow some miracle will happen and Josh will get over the final hurdle and accept that he needs to stop drinking and he’ll ask for help. Do I honestly believe it’ll happen? No.

They remind me of Wings' A-Logs. They tell themselves they hack into his shit and swat him because they want him to put down the controller and get a job while acting like they wouldn't inundate his employer with calls and Google reviews saying he's a racist pedophile.
Same shit with Cobes. Even if they somehow got him strapped down to a hospital bed where he was able to detox under close medical supervision... in fact, let's take this one step further. Let's say somewhere in the process he had a coming to Jesus moment where he dedicated himself to getting clean and becoming a productive member of society. His A-Logs would drive to his apartment with a beer bong and a bottle of liquor just so they could stream themselves pouring it down his throat.

I didn't read your dissertation on Cobra because it started with this and I can assume that anything proceeding those words is 100% wrong and satanic. He can't ever be helped he's just gunna die all slow and sad and any other possibility entertained beyond that is a nice on paper. It's very optimistic and in all of our hearts we'd want it before anything else but it's just not gunna happen, my nigerish compadre. This boglim is casketbound and if any of you hold out hope for change you are going to feel what Clint feels every day; Disappointment.

Josh legit has Oppositional Defiance Disorder, which is a disorder I don't think I even believed was real until I started following Josh.
If Josh was sinking in quicksand and a quicksand expert happened to be nearby and came over and told him exactly how to get out of the quicksand and survive, Josh's retard brain would refuse to hear any of the information and he would fully submerge and suffocate in the quicksand all so that Jord could prove that he could get out of the quicksand "his way."
That's on top of his laziness, low IQ and substance abuse issues.
Now try helping someone like that. Hell, just try doing something nice for someone like that. You will walk away frustrated, more than a little pissed at the boglim and you will vow to never try again.

Well to sum it up because it was too long for your college reading level the tl;dr is that cobra could be helped if he wanted help but he won’t ever want help. I then provided some examples of people who were much worse off than Cobes and had staff at the hospital begging to help them only for them to brush it off and leave with their rotting gangrenous foot as is rather than stay at the ER for treatment. I related that to Cobes with the point being, help is always available and possible but the biggest obstacle is the person in need of help has to want it. I was agreeing with you that cobra is beyond help but for the reason that he’d never accept help

In the latest 4 minute night video, Josh is in the worst condition I've ever seen him in... he looks uncomfortable and maybe even a little bit scared. I figure he drank enough of that vodka to nearly give himself alcohol poisoning. The way he talked about drinking beers and screwdrivers just to feel comfortable again is spooking me, I guess I'm not ready to see him in late stage alcoholism.
