Oh no, this bitch doesn't even have her own place? Without that she's got nothing pressuring her to get back at all.

Everything makes more sense now. I figured the sex with Cobra couldn't be that good for her to be acting the way she is.

This is going to turn into a problem, worst case scenario she winds up getting him kicked out of his apartment if she keeps acting stupid. The dry spell may have ended, but it seems the cost may be more dire than expected, even by a dark wizard.

I don't know anything about Cobes' housing, but I know a lot of boarding-houses, rooming houses, student apartments, bedsits, and other accomodation for singles often have clauses about guests- The standard (you see it in lots of old movies) used to be "no opposite-sex guests in your room", but sometimes they'd let you have a (same-sex) guest stay over, usually one or two nights.

(I'm assuming he's not in a hotel or motel, but they also often have policies that may allow overnight guests, but only for a certain time)

Or maybe he's in some special housing program? I know Cobes loves playing the "Special Needs" card- I can't see him turning down housing that makes allowances for the "differently abled"; Places like that usually have policies to stop other bums glomming onto some (literal) retard, in order to permanently take up residence on their couch.

...Or maybe Josh was just wise enough, to set up an expiry date, to make sure that whatsherface knows she can't get too settled in?

(but the "8 to 10 days" thing is weird; Usually it's either one, or two nights. ie "You can let your buddy stay the night, if he can't get home tonight. Or you can have a buddy from interstate/far away stay for the weekend... but THAT is where the line is drawn..."

The whole point of these rules, is that these are the kind of housing that's one step up from homelessness; So residents are often fresh off the streets, still hanging out with their old, homeless buddies. So you need rules to stop one guy getting a one bedroom apartment, which ends up being the communal crash-pad, where 15 homeless guys use the place to smoke crack and pass out every night.

But having a rule that says "people can stay over, but only for 8 to 10 days" is useless, for that purpose; 8 to ten days is PLENTY of time for some homeless hanger-on to get dug in, move in a bunch of crap, and feel like it's HIS place, now. Hell, three or 4 days is long enough for that. You may as well have NO limitation on guests staying over, if the rules ALLOW them to crash for over a week straight)

The weird timespan makes me suspect it's either Josh stretching a real rule, to maximize the pussy he gets, but still be able to kick her out in the end (ie, the rule is probably two nights, but Josh knows nobody's checking, so he can get away with a week). Or else he's just made up the whole thing.
