It warms my blackened heart this thread is still so active. I know it sounds like a horrendous cliche but he really did bring joy to a lot of people. I wish he could have known that when he was still here.
Man, I drunkenly watched Cobra tribute music videos like I do sometimes the other night, and I realized from the upload dates it's been about 9 months since he passed. Time flies, I just think of all the news stories, music stories and celebrity deaths he would've reacted (and drank) to. Chuck Norris would've been a big one for him, he was around when Norris jokes were at their peak. All the Cradle of Filth drama would've been another funny one to watch him react to.
At least his family knows. I'm sure that all they saw beforehand was the abuse and A-Logging that happened to them because of Josh. I doubt they knew there were so many fans who didn't wish their lovable goofball harm.
Funny. I went to a Houston Hot Chicken and thought "Cobes would get the hottest one, coat it in fries and ranch, then throw some sushi on it and bitch that it wasn't very hot until it hit his asshole the next day."
I have been having a problem with MS Teams recently at work where when I share multiple screens, Teams crashes and my virtual PC disconnects. Last week I had been having an especially stressful week and was trying to share with one of my contractors. When my virtual PC crashed I gave it a fiery "GODDAMMIT!". Logged back in, reconnected on the call, and the contractor politely informs me that they can still hear me for a few seconds after the disconnect....

At military banquets they set a symbolic table for the the dead and MIA soldiers, so for memorial day this year I encourage you all to set an extra plate out for our favorite patriot who killed the leader of isis, saved the world from covid, fought for gender equality, did volunteer work for vietnam vets with agent orange and countless other things before he was airdropped into Afghanistan last August with nothing but a can of dog food and a double barrel shotgun and was never seen again. Celebrate in whatever way that makes you happy. I will commemorate the day like a true gothic bad boy: rocking out to some Ozzy, mixing up a dank drink combo but spilling most of it on my dog chair, and DoorDashing a $75 pizza but letting it cool on my counter for three days.
I’ve been doing a lot of lurking through this thread and I gotta say that while I might not have been there for the entire journey I can see now why people love Cobes. Dude was legitimately funny and never apologized for who he was. I have nothing but respect for him. I’m sad he went the way he did but I take solace in the fact that if there is an afterlife, Cobes will no doubt be at the party there mixing up his many concoctions and tasty snacks.
I consider the "dank spam" video to be one of Cobes' last greatest hits. The original audio was likely fucked up, hence it being completely replaced by this absolutely bizarre combo of generic music tracks. The best part starts at 2:00.
