The amount of cope and denial in this message is palpable. It is painfully obvious to me and every one of Josh's "haters" that he is not competent. He is an adult in body but mentally stuck somewhere in his teens.
It is however cheaper and mentally easier to take for clint to pay for an apartment and let him fester and hang out with low lifes, than it is to put him in a group home with structure and routine, which force him to bathe and eat properly. Youtube is also harmful to his psyche and its clear to me at least, that he continues to do stupid shit because he sees youtubers doing stupid shit for clout and views and wants to be "youtube famous", so he does what he thinks will get views. That is the only way I can fathom his ridiculous cooking, posing in stupid underwear, and routinely embarrassing himself on camera with seemingly zero shame.
What hope is there for Josh to improve if even his father is in denial? We all know Clint pays for that apartment and his bills, we arent stupid, and it seems Josh isn't the only compulsive liar in the family. Josh cleans out his bank account any time he gets a bit of money, and recently failed to pay for his internet, you expect me to believe a gothic badboy who acts perpetually 13 takes care of his adult bills? He has zero ability to delay gratification and plan for the future, because he is so mentally stunted either by nature or nurture. Washing your hands of him at 18 is why he's a collosal fuck up now, and no amount of cope is going to convince me.

That would be the government in the form of SSDI. He gets enough to pay for rent, and maybe a hundred extra. He also might be on food stamps and medicare. But yeah Clint has in the past paid for the internet and maybe his cell phone, I don't know years later if that is still the case. He was $300 in the red with the internet company recently which he sold those recent items to pay for.

I was under the impression SSDI has to be accounted for, and likely Clint is his payee? Which again points to Josh not being a competent enough adult to be considered "independent" There is no way he gets that into "his" account or it would be pissed away on booze, cigs, and door dash.

I'm almost certain that the money needs to be accounted for specifically because there is a payee (Clint) involved and under normal circumstances it wouldn't have to be. Josh could probably find some quack doctor to write a letter to the SSA saying he's able to manage things and get Clint removed as the payee, but that would mean that he would have to not be a lazy bum.
